Spark coud hear loud groaning from somewhere, spurring him awake. He stood up as he looked around to see where it came from. Before he could take a single step, however, he slipped and fell due to his injuries.

"Owww..."

The Jolteon looked around. He was lying in the shambles of the previously destroyed house.

How long has it been since the building collapsed? What happened to Pyro and Dan? Was Dan okay?

"I wouldn't move if I were you..." A familiar voice spoke up, chuckling faintly, "You're not exactly in the best shape there..."

Spark looked over to where he heard the voice, and saw Dan lying there on his stomach, half of his face covered with blood.

"You're one to talk!" The Jolteon barked, "You're still bleeding!"

"Still as lively as when I met you, huh?"

"First Mission?" The Arcanine asked.

"Y-Yes sir." The Spark replied, knowing that he wasn't supposed to be there.

"Name?" the Arcanine asked.

"Spark, sir." Spark replied, digging himself deeper and deeper into the hole he made for himself.

"Special Ops Agent Spark, huh?" The Arcanine asked. "Nice name deputy. Lay low, and try not to die."

"Special ops agent? Spark thought to himself, pulling out the same black suit. He looked to his side and saw the Arcanine pull out two guns and put them in holsters. Spark looked into his locker, and saw two combat knives waiting for him. She pulled them out and looked at the knives.

"You're a speed agent, huh?" The Arcanine asked. "Bold choice."

"M-Mhm..." Spark stuttered. "I wanna go home..."

"The names S.O.A Dan." The Arcanine told Spark. "Get suited up, deputy. Afterwards, let's go out for drinks. My treat."

Spark looked down at the black suit black tie with a nervous smile.

"I'm so screwed..."

"Yeah... I guess..." Spark smiled to himself before his eyes widened, "...How long has it been since...?"

"Check your phone."

Spark reached into his neck fur, digging around for a while before pulling out his phone, which had been cracked a few times because of the fight. He opened the phone to look at the time, and remained silent.

"It's been a whole day...?"

"Apparently so."

"Where is everyone else?"

"Probably made it to Kalos by now... Everyone's safe, no casualties..."

"How do you know that?" Spark reached up to play with Winter's undamaed necklace, a bit hesitant to believe that things would turn out so well.

Dan shook his neck fur, "Took a page out of your book..." Soon, a walkie talkie fell out of it, "It died a few hours ago, but I've been notified of everything."

"...So, Ether, huh?"

The Arcanine's ears twitched, "Yeah... His name is Ether, apparently."

"I almost lost it back there..." Spark looked away, "I was gonna–"

"Yeah, you were going to kill him."

The Jolteon turned to Dan, "Why'd you stop me anyways?"

"Knowing you, you would get all depressed over killing someone else, even if it was justified. That's just the type of Pokémon you are."
