"Are you okay?"
It's a simple question, really. All it needs is a simple answer- yes or no. But there is so much more that could be said.
Me, I haven't been okay in a long time.
I probably won't be okay ever again, by the looks of it.
But I can't let anyone know that. The minute I show pain is when I'm seen as weaker and I don't want that.
So I always smile and say yes.
I always lie.
I'm sick of lying.
