It was around 12 am and Jun was currently stressing over the marriage proposal sent by the Royal. What was her mother thinking to wed her off to a nobleman from Sweden? Couldn't she just sit for the throne without a marriage? Jun couldn't understand her mother neither she wished to understand her. And in an anger, Jun immediately sent all of the paperwork on her table flying onto the floor. Her anger issues had worsened day by day, her aggressiveness might have been affected by the medication she was on. After all, those people wanted to separate her and Lucas apart.
"Fuck everything." Jun cursed in English and headed to her bed, swinging her body leisurely onto the soft mattress. Her hand went upward to touch her chest, she pressed her fingers on the long scar there and sounds of car crashing were heard in a distance. It didn't hurt her but the memories of it frightened her greatly. Unconsciously, she had called out for Lucas desperately and there he was, sitting by her bed with her right hand held tightly in his. He asked her if she was feeling suffocating and Jun smiled, Lucas had always known her better.
Jun looked at him with slightly closed eyes. "I'm alright."
"Was it because of the scar?"
"It no longer hurt so don't worry."
"Then, I guess it's because of the heart."
Jun shook her head, it's nothing like that. She was just feeling uncomfortable at the moment and she wished to rest with him staying by her side. Their hands intertwined together and she asked if he would leave her just like everyone else claimed. She didn't understand why was everybody treating her like she was sick—she was no longer in pain. The injuries she had from the car accident had disappeared a long time ago and she was fully healed. The doctors even said there were no complications with her operation.
But, those people still asked her to take medications and her mother kept arranging a psychiatrist for her. Jun Samezuka wasn't insane. "I'm not crazy—I don't understand—" Why did everybody want to separate them apart? Lucas and her were one and no one can say otherwise. He was her life and happiness. She only lived for him. Jun was slightly glad and happy that her father was the only one person that believed in her. He believed in Lucas. Everyone said, they can't see Lucas but her father was on her side. There's no way a father couldn't recognize his son.
"Are you still thinking about that woman?"
"Why does she have to be our mother?"
He only let out a chuckle. "It's supposed to be, why do we have to be her children? A mother shouldn't act this way to her children and shouldn't separate the siblings apart."
