They both entered the meeting room. Three main chairs were set at the front; Shivay sat in the middle, with Sidharat on his right and Avneet on his left. They all looked like the rulers they were.
The meeting started, and Shivay introduced Avneet to the Mafia world with full pride. As the meeting progressed, Munjul and Riyaz couldn't take their eyes off Avneet, both lusting over her and underestimating her. They assumed she would be easy to handle, unaware of the reality.Once the meeting ended, everyone left except for Shivay, Avneet, Sidharat, Munjul, and Riyaz. Riyaz moved toward them.
Riyaz: "Mr. Oberoi, where have you been hiding this treasure?"
(He eyed Avneet with a sly grin.)
Shivay and Sidharat clenched their fists in anger. Sidharat stepped forward to punch Riyaz, but a hand on his shoulder stopped him. It was Avneet. She shook her head, signaling him to stop, and stepped in front of Riyaz herself.
Avneet: "So, Mr. Whatever, whatever you were asking my dad, ask me instead."
Riyaz: "Oh, baby, got angry? I was just saying, where have you been all this time? Such a beauty should be with m—"
Before he could finish, Avneet kicked him hard between his legs, causing him to collapse to the ground. Munjul moved to hit her, but Sidharat slapped him hard.
Sidharat: "Don't you dare, Munjul."
Avneet: "Next time, before saying any nonsense to a girl, remember this."
Shivay: "You both, out of the meeting room."
They left, glaring. Avneet approached Shivay and hugged him, and he hugged her back.
Sidharat: "Uncle, we need to be more careful. With Avneet here, they will try to harm her to get to you."
Shivay: "You're right. I'll increase her security."
Avneet: "Dad, please, I'm already tired of the security guards following me around. Plus, I can protect myself."
Shivay: "Avu, no arguments."
Avneet: "But dad—"
Sidharat: "Miss Oberoi, sometimes it's good to listen to others. I'm sure you can protect yourself, but this is also important."
Avneet: "Please, Mr. Monkey, don't start your lecture now."
Shivay was shocked to see Avneet calling Sidharat by a nickname without him getting angry. It was a surprising moment for him, but he decided to let it go.
