Tim scoured almost every room in Ace Chemicals. Scarecrow was not to be found in any of them, although he rescued some workers in the process of his search. The only room he not searched the in the basement, the largest room and most structually sound. He didn't think Scarcrow would want somewhere low to try and watch his acomplishments. But he was out of options.

He walked to the stairs, the elevator was not a safe route, and hurried down 5 flights. He reached the first floor and saw the mess of men he had taken out 30 minutes earlier. They still lay uncouncious, but Tim had taken the precation of tieing them up. He went to the farther right corner and saw a door that read "Basement:Authorized Clearance Only." Tim was autorized enough. He kicked them door. In and walked in.

The entryway to the basment was dimly lit by small light bulbs on the sides of the walls. Its first corridor let to another door; it was a large metal door that took some effort for even Tim to open. He opened the large rusty door, and upon he was greeted by all the lights in the basement turning on. There were a good amount of lights in the actual basement, so it blinded Tim a bit. After his eyes adjusted, he opened them to see Bane standing only about twenty feet from him. He was accompanied by five hencman, all carrying a weapon of some sort. Two were carrying bats, the others knives.

"Ahh the Bat returns. I was looking forward to fighting the Boy Wonder, but you will be better to break." Bane announced to Tim. "Scarecrow said if I kill Robin, I get all the venom I want. He'll be much more happy if I kill you." He then threw his arm out to signal his henchman to attack Tim.

They all charged and surrouned Tim. One swung, but was countered by Tim, and throw to the ground. Tim turned and kicked a man in the gut causing him to drop his knife, and hit him in the chin with the hardest uppercut he could deliver. The goon fell to the ground unconcious. Two more gaurds attempted to swing their blades at Tim, but he side-stepped their attacks and kicked one of their knees in. The man screamed in pain and fell to the ground. The other man looked at his partner, and then at Tim. But he looked a second too late. As he looked, he saw Tim flying towards him with a fist in the air. The fist connected and knocked the man to the ground. He started to get up, but Tim smashed his head into the ground, knocking him out. The last gaurd just looked at Tim and then Bane, and ran out.

Bane noticed something about this "Batman". He was more violent. He had a much more rugged fighting style. He knew it wasn't Batman. "Haha you have fooled me for a moment. Well, who is really under that suit? Nightwing? Robin? Haha you fight like a angry child."

Tim knew he had to fight at the best of his ability to even compete with Bane. Bane yelled at suprise charged at Tim. He was barely able to sidestep it, but he dodged the rampaging run of Bane's.

"I will kill you boy!" He yelled as he stood in a fighting stance. Tim had possibly his biggest challenge in front of him.
