Well, Hey...Fancy Seeing You Here?

Chapter 2 - Nosey Parkers

I walked confidently into Starbucks and hopped up the stairs to my favourite spot by the window, overlooking the street, just waiting patiently for the lads to come into view. After studying the busy-ish street for a while, I saw their smiling faces turn the corner down the road. I could see they were all laughing. I tried to imagine what each boys laugh sounded in real life, not just in their videos, as I watched their eyes light up. Eventually, I heard the door downstairs open and their laughs echo around the room. I smiled to myself.

As they climbed the stairs to the upper floor, Chris saw me and immediately ran over to hug me.

"Hey Brooke!" He said enthusistically, crushing my ribcage.

"Hey! How are you all?" I asked, curious to how they spent their day.

"We're pretty good,..." Replied Phil, with a huge grin on his face, " Brooke... we were thinking, we're going to throw a party for our friend for his birthday. Would you be interested in coming? It'd be at mine and his place this weekend probably, I'll keep you updated as more gets organised."

"Oh my God! I'd love to come! Just one question, who is this friend you keep mysteriously talking about?" I full well knew the answer, but just in case, I didn't want to turn up to a party of someone who all I knew about was their music taste.

PJ piped up, "It's our friend Dan, he's turning 22 on Saturday and we thought you two would get on really well! Didn't we lads? Anyway we've spoken it over and tried to organise for you to bring a friend, do you have anyone in mind? A boyfriend maybe?"

He was so nosey, I wasn't a quite forever alone, I lived with my best friend, Leasha, and we made YouTube videos together, each on seperate channels and we were pretty big fans of the Fantastic Foursome. I knew right there and then that I was bringing her.

"No, I don't have a boyfriend,..." The boys exchanged cheeky looks between each other but I chose to ignore it, " If it's okay, I'd like to bring my best friend, she'll be so excited to meet you all, she's a pretty big fan of you all!" I blabbered on not realising that I'd just admitted knowing who they were. Oh crap.

"You know who we are?" Chris said with one of those stupid-but-adorable, lop-sided smiles those boys do, he looked almost proud of himself, but personally I was proud I hadn't had some crazy fan-girling outburst yet.

"Erm... yes. Both of us are quite big fans, I hope you don't mind, I didn't want to say anything to you in case you thought I was strange or some freaky fan girl." I  replied, nervously.

"Why would we think that, you're cool and I'm sure we'll love to meet your friend, if she's anything like you, I'm sure she'll be awesome!" Phil replied confidently. Thank God they didn't think I was crazy.

"Haha, she's pretty awesome, and sometimes we're more alike than we realise. So where are we going after this?" I questioned. I was always curious where these guys spent their free time, they always seemed to film their videos inside rather than outside in the fresh air like me and Leasha sometimes did.

"Well, we were thinking of going back to Phil and Dan's place to record us all playing twister again, but that'd be too boring. We were hoping you might have an idea?" PJ said.

I thought for a little while then I came up with an awesome idea. "Do you guys like dancing?" I asked with a cheeky grin forming at the corners of my mouth, "Because I have an amazing proposition for you all, but I need to nip home to get it and my camera!"

"Wow you make videos? How come we've never seen you on YouTube before?!" Phil asked in shock.

"Yeah, both me and my friend do, we've been making a couple recently, but we don't have many subscribers, only about 500 each I think." Neither me nor Leasha had been making videos for very long, but we were pretty happy with the amount of subscribers we had, but compared to these guys who had hundreds of thousands of subscribers.....well, yeah.

"Right, you go home and get your camera and whatever your idea is and we'll meet you back here then drive to our place, yeah?" Phil said, smiling from ear to ear. You can never tell if boys have ideas, where as us girls just grin/ jump up and down/ scream, or all three. We're so obvious with our genius.

I agreed and ran back to our house, I didn't live far from the town centre, only a couple of minutes. As I opened the door to our flat, I saw Leasha sprawled on the sofa in her pyjamas on her laptop, probably on tumblr or checking her comments on YouTube.

"Hey Leasha you'll never guess what!?" I pretty much screamed in her face.

"Wow, calm down, what?" She asked me in confusion, it was just a normal day to her in her pyjamas and on her laptop but for me it was meeting the people we aspire to.

"I met Phil, Chris and PJ!" My grin spread from ear to ear, " And we've both been invited to Dan's birthday party this Saturday! They said I could bring you! I'm leaving a huge responsibility on your shoulders, you're in charge of buying or choosing our outfits!" I practically flew when I said we were going, up until now I was like 'oh yeah okay, cool' but after having said it out loud I was buzzing in my stomach.

"You mean we get to meet the Fantastic Foursome....and spend prolonged amounts of time with them in their house. Oh, my, God. WHY DID YOU NOT TELL ME SOONER!??" She practically deafened me.

"I only met them today, but we seemed to get on really well, they bought some CD's for Dan at the shop and invited me out for Starbucks when I'd finished, which is why I'm late home, but I'm going back to Phil and Dan's apartment now to film a video with them. I've just nipped back to get my camera and get something for my idea. I don't know what time I'll be back, it really depends what time we finish filming and editing it. I'll text you though!" The confused look she had plastered on her face meant I said that all too fast, she smiled and wished me luck so it meant she understood it if nothing else.

I ran upstairs to my bright blue room and fetched my camera from my dressing table, I also grabbed the game from under my TV and put it in my bag. I flew down the stairs yelled a quick "BYE!" in Leasha's direction before legging it out of the house and back to Phil, PJ and Chris. They were going to love my idea...
