"Phil, Leasha, Dan? Where are we even going?" I asked, seems I was the only one seriously not in the loop about this day trip.

"Hey, I don't know either!" Leasha replied. Maybe I'm not.

"You're just going to have to see!" The boys said in unison, it was quite spooky how they both said the same thing at the same time, but it was adorable too! I looked over to see Leasha, still on Phil's back, hugging him, almost, around his neck, resting her head on his shoulder. Every now and again you'd see Phil turn to look at her and smile. I've never seen that smile before, in any of his videos or in interviews or anything. That was a smile just for her.

"Goddammit, they're too cute!" I whispered in Dan's ear, still in piggy-back mode.

"I know, I've never seen him like this before...ever." He replied, focusing on the pavement ahead.

We kept on walking towards the River Thames and both mine and Leasha's eyes lit up when we saw a sign by the river side. 'Reserve a River Boat for the day, 2 people, 4 people, or 6 people'. Leasha and I exchanged exited looks whilst Dan and Phil looked at us with huge grins on their faces.

"You planned all this?!" I asked, my voice squeaking slightly, "You guys!" I gave Dan a hug around his neck and he leaned his head against my arms in return. Then his pace quickened as we got closer to the little pier with the boats on it, and he began running.

"I thought you didn't like running, Dan?" I asked in confusion.

"I don't but this is worth it!" He replied reaching the pier and setting me down. He handed over the money to the boat guy and ordered a four person boat-thing. The man started up the engine and we all clambered aboard. immediately Leasha and I ran to the front of the boat by the railings and pretended we were in the movies, talking lines to each other in American accents. This failed miserably of course and we just ended up in a heap on the floor in creases of laughter.

I felt so happy when I was with Leasha, Phil and Dan. I don't think I've had a happier couple of days than I have with these guys. I've never stopped smiling and I never stopped laughing at one or the other of them. I know this sounds cheesy, but I think I've found my home, it's with these guys.

After me and Leasha finished our little fit, we sat cross-legged on the deck of the boat and watched the gentle ripples disappear in the distance as the boat moved through the water.

"Do you want a drink? Phil put some in the rucksack?" Leasha asked standing up and heading towards Phil.

"Sure, please." I replied.

A few seconds later I heard footsteps behind me, they slowed and then stopped. I just thought it was Phil sitting on the bench by the rails. I leaned back on my hands and closed my eyes, feeling the slight sunshine and the gentle breeze wash onto my face and into my hair. Despite being in the middle of London, the air smelt clean and fresh. I heard the footsteps behind me again, this time closer. Then I felt a hand on my shoulder,

"Hey Brooke, you look a bit lonely sat there." I heard Dan's low voice whisper near my ear. I turned around and stared into his chocolate brown eyes. I melted a little and just stared into these little brown pools. He then handed my drink and sat beside me looking out to the water.

"It's really pretty isn't it?" I said gazing out at the little white ripples floating on the surface.

"It is." He replied solemnly

A cool breeze wafted over my shoulders, making me shiver a bit, the sunlight was still warm but the breeze made bits of it cold. Dan looked at me, smiled and said,

"Are you a bit chilly? Do you want my fleece thing?". I genuinely didn't think any lad was like that, the ones up north are all into their strange, wonky six-packs and hollister jackets and matching sweatpants. Where as Dan was acting like you see in the movies.

"A little, but it's alright, it's just the breeze." I stated, nervously.

"Tough shit," He said before placing a warm hand on my upper arm, "You're freezing! How are you not a block of fucking ice?! Come here." He said before flinging his fleece over my shoulders and wrapping his arms around me. I leaned into his warm body realising how cold I actually was, as he leaned his head on mine, I heard him mutter something under his breath.

"What was that Dan?" I asked.

"Oh, nothing, it doesn't matter."

"Tell me, peasant!" I giggle, he smirked in a reply then turned to face me, still holding his jacket around my shoulders.

"Listen, Brooke. I know we have literally known each other for a couple of days, but we need to discuss something..." He said, staring into my eyes.

Oh shit.
