When they reappeared, they were no longer outside of the Burrow surrounded by luscious green trees and hills, but instead on a darker street surrounded by buildings that towered high and lights all around. The sun was nearly set at that point, but the air was still hot.
"Wow..." Isabelle said, eyes widening as she took in her surroundings. "Where are we?"
"Cairo," Bill said, looking down at her with a smile.
"Egypt?" She said excitedly, squeezing his hand that was still in hers.
Bill nodded. "I told you I would bring you."
"Yeah, but I didn't think... wow..." Isabelle said, still amazed by everything she was seeing around her.
"I know you want to see everything, but we actually have somewhere to be," Bill said.
"Where?" she asked curiously.
"You'll see," he smiled, leading her out of the dark alleyway.
They ended up walking along a main road that was made of dark bricks with buildings on either side of them, showing signs for shops and small restaurants above street lamps that shined down onto the crowds of people walking around.
Isabelle tried to take in as many of the sights as she could on their short walk as he led her through different streets of the city until they reached an opening that revealed a large boat sitting on the river.
"You don't get seasick, do you?" Bill asked her.
"I don't think so," Isabelle said. Her smile was still plastered on her face from when they first arrived, and it didn't seem to be fading any time soon.

"So, what do you think?"
Isabelle swallowed the bite of her food she had been chewing before answering. "This is amazing, Bill."
Once they were on the boat, Isabelle found out it was one of those dinner cruises on the Nile River. They ate as the city passed by them slowly and the stars shone brightly in the sky. Music from a live band was playing and every so often beautiful dancers would put on their own performances.
"Was this something you did a lot when you were living here?" Isabelle asked.
"Not really, this is more of a tourist thing I think, maybe just a few times," he shrugged.
"So this is where you take all of your dates, then?" Isabelle joked.
"Only my favorite ones," Bill said.
Isabelle nodded and took a bite of her food, not realizing her smile had fallen just a bit at his answer.
Bill reached over and took her hand in his on top of the table, running his thumb over her knuckles softly.
"I came a few times with friends and I brought Mum and Dad once when they came to visit. I actually didn't date much while I was here," he said.
"Really?" she said, disbelieving. "I thought you would have had girls lined up for you."
Bill chuckled softly. "I went on a few dates here and there but there was nothing serious. The first few years as a curse breaker I was moving around a lot, being assigned to different cities, and I never had time for that sort of thing."
"Percy always said you got to live in all kinds of cool cities, like Paris and Tokyo," Isabelle said.
"And New York, too, for a few weeks," he said. "But once I got put here in Egypt permanently, dating wasn't really a priority. Especially when there was this beautiful muggleborn I couldn't stop thinking about."
