Early one morning, the day before the Quidditch World Cup, the house was bustling with excitement as the Weasley family prepared for the arrival of Ron's best friend, Harry Potter.

While Isabelle was at Hogwarts, she always knew Harry to be a little more reserved than his friends. Because of this and the fact that she was just a few days under four years older than him, they didn't really talk much at school. Most of their interactions were when they were both visiting the Weasleys along with Hermione, where they shared the mutual understanding of growing up as a muggle.

However, Isabelle understood that she and Hermione's experiences were very different from Harry's. Isabelle's parents had always been a joy to be around, even when Isabelle and her brothers were going through their rebellious years. While they didn't understand magic right away, they were always very open-minded and loved learning more about it.

Harry's biological family was nothing like Isabelle's, which she learned from short conversations with him as well as what Percy and the rest of the family told her. She knew how he was left to live in a cupboard at his aunt and uncle's house after his parents' death, and how he was treated so poorly.

Isabelle had just become a prefect when Harry came to Hogwarts. She had learned about his story from other students but it wasn't the lightning scar on his forehead that caught her attention at first. It was the fact that he was so small his clothes basically hung off of him, and his choppy hair that looked as if they had been cut in a hurry with some rusty kitchen scissors, and how he had so much nerve to stand up to a Malfoy for how he spoke about Ron. Every time Harry mentioned anything about the Dursleys, it made Isabelle's blood boil. She truly hated how they treated him and would take him into her family without a second thought if she could.

They weren't meant to pick up Harry from the Dursleys until later in the afternoon, but that didn't stop the Weasleys from getting an early start. Molly had them running around cleaning anything she saw that she thought was untidy in the slightest, but there wasn't much because Molly had been working almost nonstop with so many guests in the house. It was mostly because of the excitement of the entire family being completely together.

A little after five o'clock, Molly, Ginny, and Hermione waited in the living room and Percy was holed up in his room as usual while Isabelle, Bill, and Charlie were talking in the kitchen. Arthur, the twins, and Ron had just left through the fireplace to retrieve Harry from the awful family.

"Mate, will you give it a rest?" Bill said to his brother, who was sitting at the table across from him.

"I don't see you having anything new or interesting to say about your job," Charlie grumbled, crossing his arms in front of his chest.

"Don't listen to him, Charlie," Isabelle said, taking a seat next to Bill. "I would love to hear all about your new dragons."

Charlie's face lit up. "See, even your girlfriend thinks I'm cooler than you."

"I never said you were the 'cool' one, Char. The dragons are fascinating enough with or without you." Isabelle said.

"You really do know how to break my heart, Clarke," Charlie said, putting a hand over his heart dramatically.

They spent the next several minutes talking about Romania and the baby dragons Charlie got to take care of over the summer before noticing the bright light from the fireplace, indicating the return of the younger boys and Arthur. They immediately heard Arthur's scolding voice, followed by Molly's.

"How can you two be so reckless! Dropping your silly joke candies knowing that boy would eat them. They must be furious at poor Harry!" Molly yelled at the twins as they entered the kitchen, followed by Ron and Harry, who seemed to be following Ron and the twins' new long-hair trend.
