"Weasley."
When Penelope opened the door to let in the person at the door, Isabelle was surprised to see Charlie Weasley entering the flat from where she still sat, curled up on the sofa.
"Charlie?"
"Hey, Iz," Charlie said gently, walking over to join her where she sat.
"If you're here because of Bill, I don't want-"
"I asked him to come, actually," Penelope spoke up after closing the door.
"I haven't talked to Bill or anyone," Charlie said. "As soon as I got Penelope's letter, I came straight here."
"I also wrote to Professor Dumbledore. He said you should take as much time off as you need," Penelope said.
"Thank you, Penny," Isabelle said quietly.
"You think you could tell me what happened?" Charlie asked, resting his hand on top of hers comfortingly.
Isabelle glanced up at Penelope, who nodded in response. "I'll give you two a minute," she said, leaving the room to let them talk.
"How much did Penelope tell you?" Isabelle asked.
"She just said you were here and really upset and needed another friend," Charlie said. "I assumed, since you're here instead of home, that it had to do with my brother."
Isabelle nodded. "I saw him cheating on me, Charlie."
Charlie's face fell more than it already had. "He what?"
"I saw him at work making out with another girl in his lap," Isabelle said.
"It had to have been something else, Iz, I don't really believe Bill would actually-"
"You didn't see it, Charlie," Isabelle said as tears began to fill her eyes once again. "He had his arms around her and- and-"
Charlie pulled Isabelle into his arms as she broke down, unable to get the rest of the words out.
"It's okay, Iz. I believe you," Charlie said, holding her close. "I'll kill him for doing this to you."
"No, no," Isabelle shook her head as she pulled away from him. "I don't want anything to happen between you and Bill because of me."
"What he did is inexcusable, even if he is my brother, and you don't deserve that," Charlie said. "If I don't have a problem with him, Mum will."
"Please don't tell her if he hasn't. I don't want to cause more problems than I'm worth," Isabelle said.
"You're worth everything, Isabelle," Charlie said, and Isabelle just looked away from him and down at her lap. "Everything," he repeated.
"Then why wasn't I enough for him?" she asked, tears falling freely down her face again.
"I- I don't know," Charlie said, pulling her back into another hug. "I wish I could tell you what goes on in that selfish mind of his."
Isabelle held onto him tight, gripping the back of his shirt as she cried into his shoulder. Charlie let her stay in his arms and cry for what felt like forever until they noticed Penelope rejoin them in the living room.
Charlie glanced up at Penelope for a moment, who gave him a soft nod, and he looked back down at Isabelle.
"Iz, I was thinking that maybe you could come to stay with me in Romania for a little bit," Charlie said.
"What? No, I couldn't-" she started, pulling away from him.
"You can't keep wallowing in your sadness here in Penelope's guest room, it won't make you feel any better," Charlie said.
