It was if the manor was a pandemonium of itself, a war zone full of mayhem, death, and terror. A wedding followed by a funeral, white to black with little notice.

"Park Chaeyoung, please do not hesitate to ask for anything! We have accommodated your time of stay for as long as needed" Jin said standing before a closed door that housed a wilted rose covered in black velvets. "I told you it would be pointless to come ourselves, we should have just let a maid tell her" Jisoo said rolling her eyes before walking forward. Jin kept to himself which was quite unusual for the rather frivolous man. "The Japanese woman and now this Park Chaeyoung, I didn't realize our home had became a hotel for freeloaders." Jisoo continued.

"Jisoo, we have caused these people so much pain, this is the least we can do. How can you show such indifference!" Jin exclaimed, tired of his sisters lack of remorse." Careful, almost sounded like we killed Oh Suho" Was all she said before walking into her own room".

"It's true, he's dead." Seulgi stated after closing her laptop with an exhausted thump. "How could this be? He was being driven straight from the airport by Taemin?" Mingyu pondered. "Taemin?" Lisa asked out of curiosity.

"He's a senior guard who's now more of a chaperone. While it may sound like a downgrade, he's been trusted to escort VVIP's such as the president and the Kim family itself. In fact he's the family's main and only driver" Mingyu answered.

"But still it doesn't make sense to take a high standing guard and make him a chauffeur just because he is trustable?" Seulgi thought out loud. There was some truth to that after all, you could trust the sun to light up the sky, but one wouldn't expect it to open the door for you.

"Well, Im not sure if I am supposed to say—" Mingyu was cut of with a scoff. "Have you forgotten you're in company of a spy and an infiltrator" Seulgi commented. A bashful hand went to his nape, but Mingyu continued, " They say Taemin's original identity of a high ranking guard is hush hush around the VVIPs he escorts.

It was clear Seulgi was going to take another jab at him for his choice of words —pfft hush hush, what is he 7?— but Lisa found something about it strange. "Is it because these VVIPs are more likely to let down their guard around a simple chauffeur?"

Silence fell among the three as each considered what Lisa might have insinuated. "I can't believe I never thought of that before" Mingyu stated with a sharp intake. "Maybe because you never had reason to suspect the Kim's would do dirty work through their chauffeur?" Seulgi answered. The mood dropping as the three came to a silent consensus.

"Maybe it wasn't an accident"

"Could it be that the Kim's had something to do with the car crash that killed Mr. Oh?"

"But why would they?"

Lisa had failed to realize what it took to do such a malicious thing as blackmail or even a heist as her first week at the manor was incredibly peaceful. Now that she was finally tasked with a job as mischievous as it is, reality rained down on her head. But she can't forget the reason she's here.

Lisa quickly grabbed a couple of fresh towels from the laundromat before finding herself before a familiar face. "Halmeoni it's been a while, you know since—" Lisa let her voice trail off, regretting that she even brought it up. "Ah Lisa! I have missed you. Who are those for?" The sweet old lady replies, ignoring the upsetting events that have happened. "Oh, the head lady told me to bring them to— oh who was it again?— ah yes, Jeon Jungkook" Lisa stammered, though it was quite intentional.

"Well then, that boy's got a temper so i'll let you be right on your way. Three floors up to the east wing" Halmeoni said walking away in the other direction, missing the ghost of a smirk Lisa had. "Perfect"

Jungkook's already pail skin had lost all its color, his onyx eyes had lost their charm. The death of Oh Suho was not only a political and economical jab, no, he was used to fixing those losses. His death brought an empty hole in his family. Park Chaeyoung, who was supposed to officially become his cousin last night, became a girl wallowed in despair. And Bae Irene had became somewhat of a widow before even getting married.

His thoughts were paused when a little knock resounded from his door. "Enter" He said, still sitting in front of his window. Given that he expected to be left alone again in a few moments, he was surprised to feel a finger poke just below his shoulder. He turned to see big brown eyes avoiding his gaze.

"Lisa, I wasn't expecting you" Jungkook said standing abruptly and moving a few paces away to give them distance. "I wanted to ask when I'd be fired, I know everyone is very busy right now, but I'd like to say goodbye to my friends here before I need to leave" Lisa said very quietly. "No" was all he said in response.

"No?"

"No, you won't be fired"

Lisa's face lifted to his direction in shock. "What, I mean for what I did I would understand if you'd want to fire me ... unlike my job at the bakery" Lisa added. Jungkook wanted to laugh at how brazen she was to say these things knowing that he could still change his mind. "Actually, the bakery situation is exactly why I will be letting you continue, I realize that maybe I overstepped some boundaries by firing you and taking your scholarship." He said with much pain to his pride, "What happened that day will not be known to anyone".

Lisa kept her eyes trained on him as if expecting him to say more. "What about when you called me a slut?" She said almost with a blank and innocent expression. "I did not do such a thing!" Jungkook immediately retorted, his face color becoming a shade of red. "Well you called me a skank which is pretty much the same thing—"

"Alright I apologize, I don't expect you to forgive me because what I said was so very offensive. I don't know what came over me that day" Jungkook admitted, and to that Lisa did give him a little nod.

"Was it because you were stressed that day?"

"Stressed? Why would I be stressed anymore than usual?"

"Well with the wedding, did that not make you stressed?"

"If you haven't noticed, we actually pay for other people to take up most of the work behind such events"

"Right, but were you not affected that your cousin was going to get married? To Mr. Oh?"

"I mean I guess so, but I'm not her mother. I'd always expected her to get married one day"

Lisa let out a sigh. This conversation was becoming more and more pointless. "Whats with all the questions?" Jungkook asked. "Nothing! nothing I was just wondering" Lisa said almost too quickly. "I'll be on my way now" she said before rushing out the door.

"Lisa wait—" Jungkook called out only to stop when he realized he had taken grasp of her wrist. The two of them let go with a jerk, unable to look each other in the eyes. "Did- did you have something you wanted to say" Lisa whispered. "No, i'll see you later sometime if you find a way to forgive me." Jungkook said. Lisa sensed his sincerity so she gave him a nod before leaving.

Though the funeral was stated to be private, hundreds of men and woman cladded in the darkest blacks stood in quiet. At the front stood Suho's mother and father, doing their best to hold back tears. Surprisingly, Park Chaeyoung stood at the very back, out of sight. "Will you not be joining your parents" Jennie asked quietly. Sure Jisoo and Chaeyoung may not get along, but Jennie knew when she had to take her own stand, Chaeyoung was in pain. "I don't want to cause a scene" She muttered bitterly. Jennie pondered her response in confusion but before she could ask anything more, Chaeyoung had disappeared.

"What are you doing back here Jennie" Kim Taehyung asked taking to her side once the crowd had begun to disperse from the burial. "Nothing, I was just with Chaeyoung and she said the strangest thing" Jennie said with her nose unknowingly scrunched. He causally booped her nose before saying, "Was it something to do with the fact that she's been staying away from her parents". When Jennie gave him a nod he continued, "She was adopted for selfish reasons, but Suho made sure their parents couldn't dispose of her after they were done with her. But even though the adoption papers were never burned, Rosé's relationship with Mister and Mrs Oh did."  "Does that mean she wasn't born a heir?" Jennie asked with surprise. "Just like you, in fact it's why I'd always thought you would make good friends. Rather than smiling Jennie had another thought locked, "But now what's going to happen to her now that Suho is dead?
