The unpleasant smell of antiseptics and death lingered through the hospital. She could feel the stares of people who had begun to lose hope, wether it be loved ones, friends, or even the patients themselves. Jisoo had always been marveled at, not only for her stunning beauty, but her aura as well. The clicking of her heels finally came to a stop at a relatively private door.
"This is unlikely of you" Taemin greeted Jisoo with a weak smile once she had thrown open the doors. "Is it? Considering the nature of your— circumstance" Jisoo mused. "I guess not" He conceded with a much emptier tone then before. Nevertheless his eyes held a sort of warmth looking onto the girl he had known since they were half the heights they stood now.
"I can't tell you much. It wasn't me." Taemin said while staring at the bare white wall in front of him. "Of course it wasn't, you're too much of a chicken to kill someone intentionally" Jisoo said as she took a seat in the armchair next to his bed, legs crossed elegantly. "I don't know if I should take offense or thank you?" Taemin said with a short chuckle.
"Take it as you will. I simply want to know how much you do know" Jisoo said while looking into his eyes, searching for uncertainty or anything he was trying to hide. "I told myself it was an accident, just to let the heavy weight on my chest to disappear." Taemin begun. "Let me take a wild guess, it didn't work" Jisoo said staring ahead in boredom.
"You're right, it got worse." Taemin sighed. "It was no coincidence I was told to take such a long route crossing the rural outskirts of Seoul, and suddenly a large black car came speeding towards us with no delay." Jisoo watched as he shut his eyes and crumpled the sheets of his hospital bed. She almost felt pity.
"Did you see who was driving?" Jisoo asked while pulling out a notepad. While waiting for his response she scribbled notes of what she found useful, making sure to use her pen carefully. "He was wearing a black mask" Taemin muttered, "He wasn't alone though, there was a man next to him with the same mask"
"And from what I heard, they escaped before you opened your eyes?" Jisoo said spinning the pen through her perfectly manicured fingers. "Yes, the car― it had spikes almost as if it was meant to kill" He said causing Jisoo's eyes to rise in interest.
"Spikes you say. How interesting―" Her voice trailed off. "But Jisoo, please I don't know what you are doing. But take a look at the severity of the issue. A man died alright! I won't be able to stop you, but please for my sake be very very careful!" Taemin said taking a hold onto one of her arms in desperation. "Promise?" He begged. Jisoo slipped herself out of his grasp in irritation. "If I didn't know how to be careful, dear brother, I would already be dead."
"Was it necessary Sana?" Mina whispered out in discomfort. "I thought it would buy us time, but it looks as if it's made my situation worse!" Sana seethed in anger. "But listen, I called you both here because I have a plan" she continued, visibly calming down only to carry a sinful smile on her wine colored lips. The two other women immediately shared a gaze of fear. After all nothing good came out of a psychopath with enough to power to bypass all the rules.
"I realize he's made me weak. I may love him, but it doesn't mean I need to sacrifice everything. I've sacrificed my relationship with my father, my time, my body. "But it doesn't mean I have to give up my power, the power of being a woman." Sana said pacing around the room only to stop in front of the other two. "Especially considering he isn't here to see me do it"
"I don't understand" Mina stated, her pitch rising with every second. Sana smirked as she pulled off her coat revealing her perfectly chiseled collarbones. "Tell me you know what a man cannot resist" She said smiling as she yanked off the pin holding her hair up into a tight bun while staring out a window. She turned around sending her copper hair flying about her.
