There was one little thing that was left out when it came to Jeon Irene. Not a soul knew this, well of course, with the exception of him. He was her dirty secret, the one thing she'd take to her grave. But now— she didn't know what was happening. Her affair was becoming more than she could control. It wasn't a kiss in a closet anymore, it was so much more that even she herself didn't know every detail.
"What now?" She whispered, her breath caught between her throat in fear, fear that her suspicions are correct. But she wouldn't dare accuse him of something so heinous like this. Who was she to think he'd go to such measures for her anyway. She wasn't that special. Right?
"You ask if anything is going to change. In fact what happened makes it easier for things to stay just the same as always" He says while lifting her chin with his fingers. Another last kiss, another final night. But he'd always come back the next time. She knows he was never going to let her go.
"Unnie you have to apologize!" Jennie whined for the nth time this morning. "God if I wanted to apologize I would have done it already" Jisoo said while rolling her eyes. "Jisoo unnie, I don't know whats going on with you, but please see past what you think of Chaeyoung. Accusing her of sabotaging a wedding when in reality her brother died. You need to admit you're in the wrong." Jennie stated with a pout. Jisoo wanted to just roll her eyes again but she knew that Jennie was right. She was wrong.
"Fine, i'll apologize" Jisoo said expecting Jennie to smile but instead Jennie began to fist the ends of her dress. "What else is it that you want to say" Jisoo said knowingly. "Well yesterday Taehyung told me about Chaeyoung's family situation and I was just worried about what would happen to her now that Suho's dead" Jennie whispers nervously as if it was a thing she wanted nobody to hear.
"Its no secret among us that Park Chaeyoung is an unwanted child" Jisoo stated casually causing Jennie to gasp. "That's true, and that's also why i'll sacrifice anything and everything to find my brothers murderer" Chaeyoung stated as she entered the room catching Jennie of guard.
"Well speak of the devil" Jisoo murmured but Chaeyoung's sharp ears caught it. "Are you saying the car crash wasn't an accident?" Jennie whispered as if it was a terrible thing to say. "Well considering that my brother was killed the very day he first stepped in South Korea after being in Japan for nearly a decade, I don't see why it can't be?"
"Did he slip anything useful?" Seulgi whispered from under the large tray of assorted breads she was holding. Underneath was Lisa ducked down out of sight so the two could converse without prying eyes.
"No, he was just rephrasing the fact that he's a rich smarty pants" Lisa groaned while thinking of her conversation with Jungkook. If only Seulgi could see the slightly pink cheeks she had when remembering the last moment of their meeting.
"I mean, I know the two families are close, but it is possible the Jeons don't know what the Kim's may have done" Lisa asked.
"Nonsense, the families are practically one. The only time thats possible if a single Kim is behind this and has been keeping it a secret." Seulgi answered, but it really only opened up more questions.
"You know, I hear that Jisoo and Rosé have been going at each other since she first arrived, I'd always thought it was nothing but squander, but now..." Lisa started only to be cut of.
"Well if she planned to murder her brother, she probably would have done a better job of not being so obviously suspicious" Seulgi smirked at Lisa's naive mind, "You think this is easy don't you, I promise you it's some one we would never expect.
