𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐥'𝐬 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐰 ↬ ᵗᵃᵉᵏᵒᵒᵏ ˢʰᵒʳᵗ ˢᵗᵒʳʸ

Words couldn't explain what was going on in the shadow's mind. 

And as none of the previously mentioned were leaving his mouth, the soul took that at as a sign and slowly captured the younger's lips. 

Jungkook was taken aback by this sudden but nevertheless extremely gentle gesture of his. So much so that he wasn't sure if he should push the other away or respond to the kiss. 

Fortunately as the soul began moving his lips in a slow and sensual manner, he finally woke up from his trance and copied Taehyung's movements. 

The two of them , lips still glued tight  , moved to a sitting position which made it easier for the shadow to place his hand on the other's neck to bring the soul closer and deepen the kiss. Soon, an unsure but eager muscle tasted Taehyung's mouth , silently asking for entrance. Taehyung let him in and mutely permitted the other to take control. 

Taehyung's peck had turned into a kiss which then turned into a full on make out session. 

Needless to say both entities' were catching their breaths after hesitantly separating the following instant. 

"Wow....that was..something" , a smiling soul let out. 

"I-I know right ? Totally not my first kiss.." , spoke the other. 

Taehyung sent him an apologetic glance ,"What ? That was your first ?" , he said , concerned that he had pushed the other into something he wasn't ready for. 

Jungkook sneakily pulled out the pillow beneath him and hit the other as he let out a series of loud laughs in front of the soul. 

"HAHAHAHA y-you fell for it !!" , he said as he held his abdomen in result of laughing to much. 

Taehyung fell silent due to the amount of embarrassment he was feeling. 

"Nah but in all seriousness ,  that definitely was something" , shadow spoke up , emphasizing the word 'definitely'. 

The older creature nodded and after a minute of the two awkwardly avoiding eye contact , he expressed , "..Could we perhaps .. do it again ?"

"I thought you'd never ask" , Jungkook replied as he grabbed Taehyung's hand and swiftly pulled him on top of him. 

𝖙𝖎𝖒𝖊 𝖘𝖐𝖎𝖕

Nighttime had now come upon the grey colored flat. 

The two creatures were preparing a meal whilst listening to some old tunes they sung jointly.  

Moments like these - ordinary moments - were the ones they adored the most amongst all the others. 

Jungkook's real persona was freest while Taehyung couldn't stop his mouth from smiling. They both felt at peace, normal and complete. And because they both knew that judgement was absent, unlike in their society, the entities openly admitted to their deepest darkest secrets to one another. 

"Fantastic fantastic fantastic fantastic ~ " , shadow sang , blending his tone with the idol's one perfectly. 

"Elastic elastic elastic elastic ~" , sang the soul as he stirred the food on beat. 

Following the addictive melody of the legendary song , the older creature stepped away from the stove and slyly grasped the shadow's waist. The other , undoubtedly surprised , chuckled at the other's action then smiled fondly as he accepted Taehyung's offer and placed his hand's on the soul's shoulders. 

The noise quieting down around them , the invisibles pursued their dance following their now matching heartbeats. 

No words were exchanged. No need for those when silence is the one thing desired right ? 

Taehyung's grip was loosening as his attention was fully on the younger's face. He let himself get lost looking into the other's gentle gaze even when his thoughts continuously reminded him of the suffering he went trough after his last lover were fuzzing his vision. 

"Soul" 

This soft call from the shadow's mouth made Taehyung blink and title his head slightly, mutely letting the other know he could continue. 

"Can I ?" , the shadow asked while looking at the elder's lips. 

"Jungkook wait" , he replied after realizing what the creature had in mind. 

The other invisible was quite hurt because the other had addressed him by his name but stayed quiet nonetheless. 

"What are we exactly hmm ? Last time I checked friends weren't supposed to kiss" 

"Then let's not be" , replied the shadow in hurry. 

"Jungkook I can't do that" 

"Why not ?! I like you , you like me . Isn't that enough for two people to date huh ?" 

"Jungkook you know I can't-" 

"NO ! You're being selfish Taehyung ! You're not taking my feelings into account and I can't just sit here and wait until you get over that other shadow-"

"DON'T FUCKING MENTION THEM" 

"THEN GET OVER THAT BITCH-" 

The shadow couldn't finish his sentence as he was silenced by the soul's sudden punch. 

"How Dare You !" , he spat at the other who was now grunting on the kitchen floor. 

"....W-what the hell ?" , shadow groaned to himself,  holding his injured and red-colored jaw. 

Taehyung's abrupt scream made the younger jump in surprise but nevertheless not for long as the latter then immediately ran towards their bedroom. 

Everything happened so fast. 

The whole scenario seemed unreal to the shadow. 

Why did Taehyung's mood change so quickly ? How did his anger suddenly take over the romantic setting ?

"Well fuck" , the younger creature let out after an exasperated sigh.
