Namjoon was sitting outside reading when I found him after lunch, "Are you ready for our game, Namjoon-ah."

He didn't reply right away, "Sorry about that, I wanted to finish that thought. It's a great book."

"It's quite alright, I'm a reader myself. Mostly fantasy adventures though. Shall we?" I say gesturing to the table by the water.

"Absolutely, I look forward to beating you." He said as we walked to the table and sat down.

Namjoon wasn't too familiar with the rules so I went through the rules with him before we drew our tiles, "I'm going to be easy on you for now. I want to get a feel for what you know."

He smiled at me, revealing his glorious dimples, Fuck. I move my hand to block his face from vision, "Don't distract me with your face like that."

He laughed at me, and took my hand, moving it down to the table. I could feel the blood rush to my face as I stared at his hand holding mine. When my eyes finally peeled away to look at him, he had a full blown smirk on his face, "Should I go put on a mask then?"

"Tempting. Wouldn't want you cheating." I said, and he went into shy mode super fast. Shy Namjoon is as adorable in person as it is in 4K HD.

"First to 200 wins. Looks like we're starting with 'B'," I looked at my tiles, "I will play 'baby'. Giving me an 11 point start."

"Alright. I won't be going easy on you know." He said placing his tiles, "Syzyby. That gives me 44 starting points."

"What the hell." I looked up at him, an amused smile plastered over his face.

"A near straight-line configuration of 3 celestial bodies. Look it up if you don't believe me." He said matter-of-factly.

"I believe you. I have no reason to believe you would cheat. Jimin on the other hand, I would question." He agreed and we both laughed, then I placed my tiles, "'but'. 7 points."

"You're going too easy on me," he says as he placed his next set of tiles, "'whatsoever'. 23 points."

We continued in silence for a bit, only speaking about the game. Then he finally asked something non scrabble related, "You know, it's a little odd that you know so much about us, and we know very little about you. I mean we know what's on your resume, and that you're a fan, but nothing else."

I looked up from my tiles, "None of you have asked me anything yet."

"This is true, so you're a book on a shelf, waiting to be opened." His words confused me, and obviously it showed on my face, so he elaborated, "I'm currently reading a book called Almond and in it, the main protagonists describes books as silent. They only make a sound when someone turns the pages, and the book finally spills all its information to the reader. It's an intimate exchange."
