3 | Confusion

I quite like James... so you might see him often in my one-shots :D And I guess this is in the same universe as the last one, I quite like it haha.

You were sitting lazily on the sofa, curled up by Olivia's side. Olivia was scrolling through her phone and you were doing the same, sneaking looks at her every now and then. Suddenly, a notification pops up, saying that someone DMed you. You frowned when you saw who it is. 

oliviarodrigo: hi! im Olivia, i was wondering if u would like to collaborate on a song together? 

You stared up at Olivia, who was still scrolling through her phone, with no trace of emotion on her face. 

Two can play at a game, you thought to yourself, typing a response to her. 

y/n.y/l/n: Omg hey! I can't believe THE Olivia Rodrigo DM me on Instagram, never thought I'll see this day. And sure, I'll be happy to collaborate with you. I love you so much <333

If Olivia was surprised by your response, she didn't show it. You watched her face carefully as she opened up Instagram, looking over her DM. 

oliviarodrigo: u actually replied?! wow, ur the famous one here, not me. but im glad u agreed. when and where??

You rolled your eyes at the response, laying your head on Olivia's shoulder, staring amusingly over her shoulder but chooses not to say anything, typing out another response. 

y/n.y/l/n: I rarely reply, you're a lucky girl. How about tonight? We can talk about it over dinner. I'll order take-outs. 

oliviarodrigo: sure! sounds great, i'll be there! love u too <3

y/n.y/l/n: So is your intention all along just to arrange dinner?

oliviarodrigo: i dont know what ur talking abt.

You glanced up at Olivia, who was smiling amusingly at her phone. You nudged her, a grin on your face. "Who are you talking to?"

"No one," Olivia hummed, her eyes twinkled in amusement. "Who are you talking to?"

You shrugged, sitting up and facing her. "I don't know, maybe my beautiful girlfriend who is sitting right next to me?"

Olivia laughed, shoving you playfully. "I was just trying to make conversation and I don't want to ruin the silence."

"I still think you could have just talk," you rolled your eyes, shoving her back. "It saves me the confusion."

Olivia pecked your lips, kissing away your pout. "Did I mention how much I love you?"

"Yes yes, you did," you sighed, pulling away slightly. "But stop making me so confused! It wasn't funny, I thought there was another Olivia Rodrigo."

"If there is, you better not be dating her," Olivia threatened, making you laughed, kissing her lips again. She tasted like the strawberry lip gloss you know she loves. 

"Wouldn't dream of it."

Hey! This is just a pretty short and fluffy one-shot, hope you enjoy it! And my brain can only write so much fluff before it switches to angst so... the next few might be more... sad... or maybe it'll be fluff! Depends on my mood. But I might just publish a few more short fluffs because these are fun to write :D
