(P) Night terrors (version 1)

Warnings: Screaming, worried Peter
Prompt: Y/n's never had anyone comfort her when she wakes up screaming from the night terrors she has..but one day Derek lets her sleep over at the loft and she has night terror

Story:
I twitched in my sleep before I woke up screaming I lived on my own so no one would come running into my room

I screamed as I immediately sat up and started crying I continued to scream I curled up into a little ball and cried before I couldn't anymore

I laid there numb as I closed my eyes and tried to go back to sleep but I couldn't I just couldn't it was to hard for me so I got out of bed and checked my phone and saw it was 2:26 in the morning

I sighed as I walked over to my bathroom and just started getting ready for the day Derek set up a pack meeting at the loft so I was just gonna hang out there until everyone's done with school

I did my usual in my morning I eat my breakfast I grabbed my keys and looked in a mirror I had bags under my eyes from not being able to sleep cause of these night terrors

They started ever since Allison got killed by Void Stiles it was draining my energy so much I barely did anything anymore

Everyone seemed to notice but I always blamed it on her death they didn't know about my night terrors at all

I was actually kidnapped by Void and tortured before he let me go freely thats when they started appearing but they hit harder after Allison's death

I got out to my car/truck and headed up the stairs I needed to wake myself up before anyone sees the bags

I walked to the door and slid it open I walked down the stairs that are in front of the door and made my way to the couch not bothering to say hi to anyone

"You alright Y/n?" Derek said once I was seated I only nodded my head as my heart beat skipped "You look tried" he said to me as I looked at him

"That's cause I am I haven't been able to sleep" I said it wasn't a lie my eyes felt heavy

"Go sleep in a room upstairs I'll have Peter wake you up when the meeting starts which would be in an hour or so" He said making me nod my head my mind skipped over the fact that I might wake up screaming

I got up from the couch and walked to the stairs passing Peter who looked concerned as he watched me walk up the stairs

*Peters POV*

"She's getting worse" I said once I heard a door close I looked over at Derek who nodded his head

"She was the closest one out of all us to Allison even Scott wasn't as close to her as she was I wouldn't blame her if she couldn't sleep" Derek said

"What about that time nobody saw her for two days and suddenly she shows up changed scared and when she saw Void she froze" I said as Derek looked at me "I think he kidnapped her and tortured her Derek made her scared and because of that she hasn't slept cause after she came back its when bags started to appear under her eyes" I added

He let out a sigh as he looked to the ground "Why do you even care about Y/n Peter you don't like any of us" Derek said as I sighed

"I might not care for you guys but I care about her she's the first person who doesn't think about my past" I said as he shook his head and let out a sigh

"That would be the day when Peter Hale cares for someone other then himself" Derek said which made me roll my eyes

An hour passed and everyone showed up "Alright Y/n's upstairs sleeping so in 30 minutes Peter go get her" Derek said making me nod

"Wait wh-"

Stiles was cut off by screams coming from upstairs I was the first one to move I was rushing up the stairs as people followed me I kicked the door in from where I heard Y/n's screams

She was covering her ears as she screamed and cried it was like something took control of my body I immediately rushed over to her and wrapped her in my arms "Hey hey shh it's alright Y/n calm down it's only a nightmare" I said softly

She yells out a few more times before she's only crying she turns in my arms so she facing my chest she gripped my shirt and held on as I whispered to her that things are okay

"Shhhh it's alright I'm here" I said my voice quiet and soft as she sniffed her eyes were closed as she still held onto my shirt

I looked up at everyone and saw them all with worried expressions as they looked at Y/n I made eye contact with Derek and we both knew that this was the reason she hasn't been sleeping

"I-I'm s-sor-ry" she says as I look down at her her eyes were open and had tears in them

"It's alright Y/n it's just a night terror I used to get them all the time in fact I still do sometimes it's not your fault" I said softly as she wrapped her arms around me

"Please stay" she said whispered "When I have night terrors I'm always alone and no one comforts me" She said

"Always Y/n I'll always stay with you" I said as I rest my head on hers I looked at everyone and told them to leave with my eyes

They all left one by one before it was just me and Y/n I continued to conform her until she was done crying

We stayed like that for awhile as I played with her hair "Thank you" Y/n said as I nodded my head

"Of course" I said as she seemed tried "Try going back to sleep okay I'll be here with you don't worry" I said as she only nodded her head

I saw her close her eyes I stayed awake probably an hour just to make sure she doesn't wake up screaming and before I knew it I was asleep myself
