(P) BECAUSE I CARE

Warnings: Cursing, Fighting
Prompt: Peters mad at Y/n because she left the loft without telling him but little does Y/n know she's a target for the Alpha pack

Story:
I let out a sigh as I walked down the street heading back to the loft with some food in my hands I just came back from the store

There was no food at the loft so why not go grocery shopping so I can survive I'm not a werewolf like Derek and Peter I needed food regularly

I turned the corner which made me run into someone "Sorry" I said immediately before I locked eyes with a familiar blue ones "Peter?"

He looked angry worried and scared all at one time once he realized it was me he put his hands on my shoulders "Where were you!" He asked sternly which made me confused I was about to answer but he cut me off "Never mind get to the loft!" He growled

I gulped before I lowered my head and walked passed him as he followed behind me once the loft came into sight I felt slightly relieved

We walked up the stairs he opened the door as I walked to the kitchen and started putting stuff away I saw the pack was here as well

Peter walked into the kitchen looking at me "Why did you leave without telling me Y/n" Peter said sternly which I heard the pack quiet down and start to listen in

"I forgot to write a note sorry I need food I'm not a werewolf or anything so I need to eat" I sassed at him as he only growled at me

"I don't want you leaving without my permission" he said stepping closer to me as I became angry by what he was saying

"Peter I don't need your permission to leave the loft that I live in as well" I snapped at him as I crossed my arms I saw anger fill his eyes as he slammed his hand down on the counter which made me jump

"DON'T ARGUE WITH ME!" He yelled with a growl I finally snapped at him

"WHY TELL ME WHY I SHOULDN'T LEAVE THE LOFT I DON'T SEE A REASON WHY YOU WOULD CARE" I yelled back which surprised him but he yelled back

"IT'S BECAUSE I WORRY ABOUT YOU WHAT IF YOU GOT HURT AND I WASN'T THERE TO SAVE YOU" He said I could feel the tension between us growing but it only made me angrier why does he care if I got hurt or not I let out a sigh as I turned and walked out of the kitchen before I turned to him

"AND WHY WOULD YOU CARE IF I GOT HURT HUH YOU ONLY CARE FOR YOUR SE-"

"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU" He said cutting me off which made my anger immediately disappear

I finally noticed how hard and uneven my breathing was my expression softened as I continued to stare into his blue eyes

"W-What?" I asked quietly he let out a sigh as he came closer to me I didn't move from my spot as he came closer

He leaned his forehead on mine as he held my cheek in his hand as his other was around my waist "Because I love you" He said in the same tone

I felt my heart skip a beat from him repeating it I felt my face become red as it repeated inside my head

"I love you too" I said quietly so only he heard me he smirked slightly before he kissed me I wrapped my arms around his neck

He broke the kiss but still held me close to him "You still need to tell me when you leave" He whispered to me which made me sigh

"Why" I whispered back a little annoyed I looked into his gorgeous blue eyes

"Because the alpha pack is after you" He said which made my heart skip a beat as he looked worried and scared

"Why?" I asked as he pulled me closer to him my head was resting on his chest as he rested his head on my shoulder

"Because your the light of the pack and they want to hurt you in order for Derek to join their pack" Peter said he was still in Dereks pack but Erica and Boyd left to find another pack

The only ones left is me Isaac and Peter along with Derek who was the alpha even though I was human Derek still let me in his pack which I was great full for and very surprised

Peter held me there as I heard someone clear their throat which made me look over and see the pack looking at us

Derek had a smirk on his face as he stared at us I blushed and put my face into Peter chest as he chuckled

"Promise me you won't leave the loft without telling me" Peter said which made me look at him now that I knew why I nodded my head

"I promise" I said as he smiled at me and gave me a quick kiss before he let go of me and walked off towards the staircase

He sat in his usual spot as I walked up to the pack who still haven't registered what just happened

I sat down on the couch as Stiles just blinked at me "What?" I said as everyone looked at me then to Peter

"What just happened!" Scott and Stiles said at the same time I giggled and rolled my eyes at the two
