Story:
I pulled into the big driveway I saw my father on sitting on the deck outside the window as soon as he saw me he stood up as Beth looked my way

I got out of my jacked up truck and closed it as my father let out a sigh and looked out into the feels where the barn was

"I'm here now" I said crossing my arms "What do you want from me" I said as he and Beth walked down the steps

"I need your help to keep the ranch" My father said as I scoffed and rolled my eyes as I crossed my arms

"Of course you do" I said looking out to the Barn myself and saw a couple cowboys on horses running around

"Y/n don't start with me" My father said as I rolled my eyes

"You started it when you called me up saying you needed me here" I snapped back at him as I looked at him he looked at me frustrated before he turned and left inside the house

"Go find Rip" He said to me as I smirked and turned to Beth who watched father leave

"Nice to see your still the same" She said smiling at me as we gave each other a short hug as I smirked

"The old me returned when I left my house to come here" I said as she laughed

"Yeah well we need the old you right now" She said as I smiled and nodded "Kayce and Jamie are down at the barn" She said

"You know I don't get along with Jamie" I said as she turned and walked up the steps

"Nether do I" She said with a small laugh as I scoffed and made my way down to the barn

I saw Kayce in the corral breaking a horse as Jamie was moving hay from a flatbed trailer to the barn for the horses

I decided to go see Kayce first before I go and torcher my little brother I walked up to the corral and leaned on it

"How long you been breaking this one?" I asked as Kayce turned and looked at me a smirk appeared on his face as I climbed the fence and jumped in

I walked up to him and hugged him as he immediately went right back to breaking the horse

"For awhile now" He said glancing at me with a small smirk "I'm surprised you came" He said as I watched the horse

"Me too" I said as he chuckled "Honestly if it wasn't for the saving the ranch I would've come" I said to him as he laughed and nodded his head

"Me too" He said "You see Jamie yet?" He asked as I shook my head

"I decided to wait before me and Beth make his life a living hell" I said with a smirk as he chuckled and shook his head

"You should go do that cause I'm a little busy right now" He said as I laughed and shook my head

"Alright see ya later brother" I said as I passed by the horse and climbed the fence once again and walked over to the flatbed trailer

I leaned on the trailer as Jamie just walked out of the barn we made eye contact as he sighed "Jesus" He said as I giggled

"Nice to see you too" I said as he grabbed ahold of the hay strings and took it inside the barn the guy on the flatbed trailer only looked at me

"What are you doing here Y/n?" He asked me as he walked out of the barn I shrugged

"Making your life a living hell" I smirked as he sighed "I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the ranch" I added
