"Damn, school is so boring.." said Remi in a low and bored tone of voice while walking with his girlfriend in the school hallway. It wasn't long before school was over, but he did not have any plans for his summer. He was rather an introvert; he did not like to go out or socialize. Basically, he lived in his own world with his girlfriend and he was happy like that.
"At least this school year is about to end.. I couldn't take it anymore! This is all so difficult.. I wish I could change it but my father wouldn't be a big fan of that. And also, of course, there's you! As long as you stay here, I'll stay here with you" said his girlfriend which was right behind him.
Remi blushed a little bit."I guess you are right. I could make one last effort to then go on and enjoy my summer. I must admit that I don't have any plans at all yet, but in the end I'll make something up like I always do." said Remi with a calm but amused tone of voice.
"Yes! You totally should. I don't think you want to have summer courses, don't you?" replied his girlfriend, letting out a little laugh.
"Everything but not that. I already hate school as it is, studying during summer without anyone helping me would be atrocious." said Remi, as he started to become more thoughtful.
"I wish I knew how to socialize a little bit better.. I hate not having friends, but I don't know, maybe it's better off like that? People like me are probably destined to stay alone. At least I'm not complaining, but I just think that having a friend would be cool.. but oh well, what more can I do about it?" Remi started thinking. It was the usual stuff he thinks about all the times.
The school bell rang. It was time to go home. Other 20 days and school would be over.
Remi said bye to his girlfriend and they gave each other a kiss. As usual, Remi blushed and his face became all red. He pretended nothing had ever happened as he walked home by himself, as his girlfriend did not live near him.
"Hello honey" said the mother, with her usual happy tone of voice. She was one of those person that you always see smile, no matter what happens.
"Hello mom" said Remi reciprocating her mom's positive energy.
"How was school today?" asked the mother, as she invited him to take a sit and eat lunch.
"It was decent, nothing interesting really happened if I have to be honest" answered Remi while eating.
As soon as he finished, he went straight into his bedroom and laid on his bed.
At home, he didn't have a lot to do. He spent most of his time on his phone. He always felt like he was wasting his time, but he always told to himself that "there was nothing he could do to change his "nature"", so he kept going like that. The only things worth noting during his days were probably his sad attempts at drawing. No one knew if he was serious or not, or if he was putting any effort into it.
He was what one would call a "dry texter". Maybe this was one of the reasons no one texted him. Also, he didn't speak a lot. He only spoke when spoken to, even with relatives and parents. To a certain extent, his personality wasn't all that awful. He was terribly selfish but at least he would not refuse to help people he liked. He was also extremely picky, another reason for him to not have friends.
While he was on his bed, a notification went off. It was a message.
14:24 Message from: Carla. "Heyyy, how are you? ^^"
14:27 Message from: Remi. "Hey, I'm fine, what about you?"
14:28 Message from: Carla. "I'm also fine thanks for asking ;)"
14:35 Message from: Remi. "So, what are you doing? Is there any reason you're texting me?"
14:36 Message from: Carla. "I'm on my bed doing absolutely nothing. I feel like I'm just wasting my time :/ also, I'm your girlfriend, I don't think I need a reason to text you"
14:40 Message from: Remi. "Yeah I guess you're right, sorry. I'm also laying on my bed"
14:42 Message from: Carla. "Want to hang out tomorrow? After school at the park, 6pm :D"
14:46 Message from: Remi. "Alright, I will be there. Now I think I'm going to study. Bye"
14:47 Message from: Carla. "Alright, byee ^^"The conversation ended.
Remi went studying until it was 8pm. He didn't like any of those "boring" subjects, but he felt like he had to do it.
And as the sky became darker and the moon arised, Remi felt like that day passed by incredibly fast. He went to sleep at 11:30pm.
The day ended.
