Hey...it's been a minute since I updated haha. My laptop broke completely and I've been too stubborn to use Wattpad on my phone until now. I'm a lot faster at writing on my laptop than my phone (plus writing on my phone hurts my hands) so chapters may also be a bit shorter than normal. In the next few chapters, please excuse any silly spelling mistakes and such. Thanks!

*second person view, she/her pronounsThe sun beat down harshly on your legs. The umbrella connected to the table only covered the top part of your body. You could feel the temperature difference between the shade and the sun.
You flipped the page in your book, figuring you only had about one hundred pages left until it would be finished. You heard the glass door sliding open behind you. You turned your head and saw your roommate Damien walking out.
He had a towel over his shoulder and his swimming trunks on. He smiled when he saw you, "Hey Y/N, what are you reading?"
"My favorite, again." You smiled shyly and showed him the cover. You must have read this book a hundred times, it was such a great and comforting book to you.
"Why don't you come swimming? I bet you could read that book just from memory." He joked.
You considered for a moment and then slipped your sundress off revealing the black bikini underneath. You had promised yourself you'd go in the pool only after you finished the book but Damien was right, you could practically read the book from memory. Plus with this heat, you were glad to get into the cool water.
You closed the book and headed to the edge of the pool. You stepped into it, the crystal clear water felt like ice against your skin, a feeling that you welcomed.
"I'll go grab you a towel." Damien said, sliding the glass door open again and returning soon after with another towel. He hung both the towels on the backs of the chairs before following you into the pool.
"Oh my god, that's so much better." Damien sighed as he stepped in the water.
You allowed yourself only a few seconds to admire his body, then turning your gaze to the sky. You've lived together for about a year now since you both finished school. You had lived on campus while Damien had been staying in a shitty apartment.
With the money you both had gotten from your part time jobs, you were able to buy a house together. You always joked about living together when you guys were younger but as it turned out, that option was the easiest.
You had been developing small feelings for Damien. At first you thought it was just because he was a guy living with you full time but as time progressed, you realized you didn't like him just out of convenience. It was a deeper feeling than that.
"Why you zoning out like that? Reading the book from memory?" Damien joked, flicking a bit of water towards you. The droplets hit the side of your arm and you could feel them running down to your elbow.
"No, just thinking." You rolled your eyes, pushing yourself off the side of the wall and swishing your hands through the water by your side.
"About?" He questioned.
You blushed a little at the thought about revealing your crush to Damien. "Just random stuff, it's nothing." You chuckled, trying to sound nonchalant to avoid Damien asking any further questions.
"Cmon, why can't you tell me?" He smirked, wading closer to you. "I know it's not just nothing."
"Well, I was just thinking about how we always joked that we'd live together but now we are." You told part of the truth, knowing Damien wouldn't believe a lie. He always knew when you were lying. Even though you always thought you were a pretty good liar, Damien somehow always knew.
"Oh right. And I always joked about how if we did live together we'd eventually fall for each other like some cliché romance film." He replied, wading even closer to you in the water. He leaned against the wall of the pool and rested both elbows on the concrete floor behind him.
Shit, you forgot about that part. But now that he had mentioned it, he did joke about that quite a lot before you had lived together.
You scoffed at him and turned your back towards him. You didn't want him to see your massive blush forming. You heard the water move but before you could turn your head you felt a warmth on your back.
Damien's arms snaked around your waist and you felt his head rest on one of your shoulders. "Has that part come true yet?" He said in a low, hushed voice. His fingers brushed against your tummy and it sent millions of shivers up your spine. "Because for me," his right hand rested on your hip. He turned his head and you could feel his breath on your neck. "It has." The last two words were almost inaudible, you thought you had imagined them.
You turned your head slightly to him, "Damien." You whispered. His hand traveled from your hip up your back until it rested on your neck.
There was an absence of his breath on your neck. You wondered why for a second until you felt warm lips press into your neck. You subconsciously tilted your neck so Damien had more access. Your left hand found his which was still wrapped around your waist and you laid your hand upon his. His kisses trailed down to your shoulder, but his lips always found their way back to your neck.
A warm breeze lifted your hair and made small waves in the chlorinated water. The more Damien continued kissing your neck, the more staggered your breath became.
His body against yours, his soft fingers supporting your neck, his lips pressed against the other side of your neck, his breath that hit your skin between each kiss. It all felt amazing.
He lifted his head from your shoulder and moved both hands back to your hips. He gently guided your body so you were facing him. You hung your head and looked at your hands that were halfway underwater.
Damien moved his hands from your hips and held your hands. He massaged little circles on the top of your hands with his thumbs. You could feel him looking at you, even with your head still hung low now looking at the two pairs of hands.
He guided your hands behind his neck and you locked your fingers together. His hands found their way back to your hips and he pulled you in closer.
"Hey." Damien whispered and lowered his head a little towards you. You heard him softly chuckle and he raised his hand to your chin. He slowly lifted your face until you made eye contact with him.
He licked his lips quickly and you copied him. His eyes flicked from your eyes down to your lips. He adjusted his hand and moved it to cup your cheek.
He lowered his head until his lips met yours. You thought him kissing your neck was amazing, but this was a million times better. It had been forever since you kissed someone, but you instantly knew this was the best kiss you've ever had.
His hands raised to the sides of your waist and he pulled you closer until your bodies were touching. You usually hated when guys did that, it always seemed just a bit creepy but with Damien it felt so normal. Like your bodies were meant to do that.
He pulled away and your lips felt freezing cold even in the summer heat. Your eyes fluttered open and you saw Damien smiling down at you. "So? You didn't answer my question from earlier. Have you fallen for me yet?" His voice was laced with sarcasm. He knew the answer already, he just craved to hear you say it.
"Yes, Damien. I've fallen for you." The butterflies in your stomach grew in numbers. But for once you didn't mind the butterflies, you barely even noticed them. Your mind was too focused on the boy in front of you. Who you could finally call your boyfriend after so long of wanting to.

I honestly really like this chapter. I usually don't like things written in second person but this was really fun to do and I'm really happy with how I described everything. Remember requests are open and I will accept nearly anything!
