Vinny looked at me with shocked eyes.
"You... you... you want to see him?" He asked me.
"Well, I mean... yeah. I need to set things straight and not run away from them like last year." I answered and he nodded.
"Are you ready to go right now?" He asked. "Uh yeah let me just get my phone and we can go." I said and ran upstairs.
I went to the table by my bed and unplugged my phone from the charger and took my portable pink charger that my friend Alyssa gave me. Let me jus tell you that that potable charger is a life saver since snapchat kills my phone battery a lot. I grabbed my purse and closed the door behind me.
I ran back downstairs and vinny was already outside waiting. As soon as I walked out, the hot, sticky, and heavy Jersey summer air hit me hard. "Ew, why does it have to be so damn humid?" Vinny just laughed at my comment. "What? Not used to jersey air yet?" he asked.
"Yeah I am... just not ready for jersey yet.." I whispered.
In about five minutes we got to nicks. And the fact that nothing changed, surprised me. It's been a year after all.
Vinny walked to the door first and I slowly walked behind him, dragging my feet.
* He lightly knock on the door three times then took a step back which is where I was standing. So when he stepped back, somehow both of us fell on the green lawn and he ended up on top of me laughing. I wasn't hit and neither was he so we both just started laughing forgetting where we were. I guess out laughter was so loud that we didn't hear the front door open.
"Rebecca?" That familiar voice said my name and Vinny and I looked in the direction that the voice came from.
"Hi nick.."
