*Rebecca's POV*

I'm currently at Vinny's house and we are all supposed to hang out today. It's me, Vinny, Louis, Angelica, Madison, and Abby here. The others are on their way. Madison has been acting weird most of the hour that we've been here. And Abby has noticed it as well... We've been texting each other about it, typical girl thing.

I was sitting on the floor next to Vinny and Madison gave him a look. They both stood up and walked into the kitchen. "What's up with them?" I asked Louis, Abby and Ang. "I was about to ask the same thing!" Angelica answered and Louis sifted uncomfortably on the couch. "Louis, do you know something that we don't?" Abby asked him with a smirk and he shook his head. "You're a bad lier." I said and he laughed. "Tell us!" Angelica begged her brother.

"I can't." He answered. "Why not?" I asked. "Because... because."

"Just tell us because we'll find out one way or another." I said and he sighed in defeat. "Fine," he started. And then he said the thing that i hoped wouldn't happen.

"Mikey's in New Jersey."

*Mikey's POV*

"I can't." I told Jason. "Yes you can and you will." He said.

"I can't." I repeated and Sarah got annoyed. "Can you just talk to her? like damn. If you talks to you great. If she doesn't she doesn't. What the fuck Mikey. Grow a pair and just go in and speak to her."

"Ooh, she told you. But she's right, I mean," Jason scratched his neck. "You cheated on her so expect the worst, for your sake."

He's right. Of course he's right. He's Jason. He knows all.

The three of us were waiting outside of Vinny's house, waiting for Vinny and Madison to text us when it's a good time to go in. I was hiding behind a tree just in case if she or someone else looks out the window. My hands are sweating and shaking and I have an uneasy feeling inside. I'm so nervous and anxious, I can't even stand still.

"Did he text yet?" I asked Jason for the fourth time and he shook his head no.

While we were waiting, Nicolette, Bianca, and Spencer walked in. And still no text.

I was nervous. I'm not sure if it's because I'm not sure how she'll react or if it's because she might love someone else and hate me.

*Rebecca's POV*

Vinny and Madison were walking around the house and when Louis said that Mikey's back, I was positive that that's why both of them were acting weird.

I wanted to pull them to a side but I couldn't. Not when everyone is here, it would be too obvious that I'm upset at them if they are purposely keeping this information from me.

But it has to be done.

When madison was walking back to the kitchen, I got up from my spot on the living room floor and ran behind him and tapped him on the back. He turned around and I asked him if we could talk.

We both walked around the stairs, and I asked him, "Is Mikey back in Jersey?"

"Where did you hear that from?" he asked me, defensively. "It doesn't really matter. But is it true?" I asked him and he sighed.

"Yes."

"Madison!" I yelled and caused every noise in the other room to get dead quiet and still.

"You said that he wouldn't be here." I lowered my voice. "I know I know. I'm sorry. I didn't think he would be here but his family got him the surprise flight back here. I would've told you if I would've known."

"When did you find out?" I asked him. "Yesterday." he answered and I felt my face get hot.

"Why didn't you tell me sooner?" I asked madison. "So you can have more time to plan your escape?" He asked me quiet annoyed.

"No. Because I have time right now." I said and turned on my heels and walked away.

"Rebecca!" madison yelled and walked after me. "No!" I yelled and got everyone's attention. "I don't want to be in the same coast as him, even worse, state! No." I said and everyone got up as I walked to the front door and everyone was telling me to stop. My vision was burry because when I get mad, I end up crying, I was looking the floor and ran out- bumping in someone and nearly knocking us both down.

I looked up and it was him. The familiar brown eyes that were looking into my soul, staring at me hard but yet, I read sadness in his eyes. The same eyes that stole thousands of girls' heart after just one look, and I am including myself in those thousands of girls. He was wearing dark blue skinny jeans, a Nike t-shirt and black adidas sneakers. With his signature hair style. You guessed it, it was the one and only... Mikey.

"Hi." He started but didn't attempt a smile. After a minute that I didn't respond, he talked again, "Can we go inside?" he scratched his neck. "We should talk. I mean... can we talk?" he added.

As he finished his sentence I felt a tear side down my face and I noticed that his eyes moved with my single tear. I quickly wiped it away and got a hold of myself.

"No." I walked passed him, and Jason and Sarah, who I noticed when I was walking away.

I walked across the familiar front lawn and opened my aunt's front door without even looking back.
