When you awoke a maid was standing there with your outfit on hand. You sighed before turning and getting out of your nest. You pulled out the stool you had installed by your brother on the side of your hollow.

"Sit." You ordered the maid. "I'll change after my bath."

She followed your orders as you left the room, heading towards the bathing rooms. Since you took a water bath the day before, you figured you could just take a dust bath that day instead.

Once finished, you proceeded to put on the typical makeup every royal had to wear when going to meetings or other royal duties. Unlike the rest of your family, yours was the least used, seeing as you have only been to a select few. It wasn't anything major, just some basic light powdered foundation, a bit of contour (spell???), a bit of eyeliner (no mascara because the eyelashes you had were feathers) and of course some lip gloss. Once finished you walked back to your hollow where the maid still waited.

You thanked her for waiting before taking your clothes and changing into them. It was a simple white button up shirt, a pair of pants that were tight against your skin until past the knee, a white, rose detailed corset and of course, your typical silver talon sheaths. Once dressed, your maid came up behind you and moved the feathers of your wings out from under the corset and tightened the corset for you. Next, she grabbed the crown that she had sat on her chair and placed it gently atop your head.

"Thank you." You dismissed her before walking up the stairs into the main hollow where the rest of your family resided.

They greeted you on your way up and you sat at the dining table to shovel the breakfast grits in. "I've chosen my guard." You said after you swallowed your mouthfuls.

"Who?" You and your brother snorted at your mothers response.

"I want Jex to be my guard, or else I'm not going." You stated after gaining your composure.

"Very well." Your father sighed. "Groom your feathers before we go though."

You nodded and pulled a wing forward, pushing the other put towards Jex who immeadiatly began plucking the bad feathers. Once you were both done, you traded wings before finishing and going to wait by the hollow entrance.

"Ready?" Your father asked.

You nodded and with that, the sound of wing beats took to the air. On the way to the nether kingdom was fourty-one guards and you, your mom, and your father. You weren't sure why you needed fourty one guards, but you wouldn't question it, it was never your place to question things.

It took about two hours to get to the temple of portals, and wow, what a beautiful place that was. You had spend almost an hour obsessing over the tiniest details in the stone work, and had found a little fox which you now held in your arms. Unfortunately, as you neared the nether portal, you could feel the heat radiating from just being near it.

"I'm sorry, little buddy, but I can't take you with me." You sighed and placed the adorable little fox on the ground, before following your father who had already entered the portal.

"Take the fox back to our kingdom, order someone to look over it for Y/N" Your brother ordered one of the guards. With that, your little fox friend was scooped up into someone else's arms and being taken back to your kingdom.

"You shouldn't have done that!" You swatted at your brother playfully.

He just smiled at you as you entered through the portal. As you exited, you hunched over and dry heaved for a moment, a little too nauseous for your liking.

When your stomach settled, the lot of you were off again, but not before hearing the portal opening again, to let newcomers through.

You watched as a beautiful tall lady walked through the portal. She had red hair that matched the surroundings of the nether and a dark sea green dress. The ears on the side of her head looked like fins, and little slits in the side of her throat moved as she breathed.

"Oh, hello! My name is Sally!" She reached out a webbed hand to your mother for a hand shake.

"Candi; you must be the daughter of King Pine?" Your mother asked her

"Yes I am! You must be the Queen of the corvid kingdom!" She smiled at your mother. "Is this your youngest?" She pointed at you next to your mother.

"Yes, this is my little N/N (nickname)" Your mom ruffle your crown feathers.

"Ma, I'm taller than you!" You huffed with a roll of your eyes.

Sally laughed before motioning that her crew and you and the rest of your crew should get moving.
