As the Corvid Kingdom and the Oceamond Kingdom made their way to the Nether Kingdom, you and Sally got to talk quite a bit.

"So you live under the water?" You asked as you and her walked beside each other.

"Yeah! And you guys live gigantic trees! Thats so cool! We just have little caves to sleep in, it blends in easier than making our homes out of coral!" She laughed.

"Hang on, how are you even breathing this air right now?" You asked, eyeing the gill flaps on her neck.

"Oh I'm half human! The royal family was bred to withstand the hardships of breathing straight air. However, my kingdom did bring us water because I won't last a week in here. Whoever I marry will have to come back to the kingdom with me." She laughed, brushing back her hair.

"Ah, makes sense... however I'm not sure how you'll get one of the princes to go underwater with you, they can't breath it..."

"Oh easy! We have royal herbalists that help make potions and they can give him a water breathing potion everyday!" She gave you a smile. "What about you? Certainly you couldn't survive in here? However you don't look like you're too hot..."

You giggled and gave her a big smile. "Us avians don't sweat. We just fluff out our feathers to let air travel through and breathing rapidly like a dog also helps!" You gave a quick example of both before checking to make sure no one saw you do that.

"That was so lowkey cute! Omg!" She laughed. "Can I feel your feathers? I've never felt feathers before."

"Certainly! Don't touch my wings but the ones on my head you can touch." You tilted your head forward for her.

She gently ran her fingers over the silky feathers, a huge smile splitting across her features. "Oh this is so cool!" She squealed.

"We're here." Your brother came up behind you, startling you.

You turned and looked, noticing the humongous castle and surrounding town you were approaching. "Woah..."

The castle mimicked that of termite home, with large fungle towers and mounds, a mix of red and turquoise colors; the kingdom seemed to be relatively split in half. On one half was a crimson biome, the houses however seemed to be made out of warped wood, a start contrast to the red trees and grass surrounding it. Off in the distance, on the crimson side, was a large pool of lava and standing proud was ever famous Nether Fortress. On the other side was a warped forest biome, the homes made out of Crimson wood and behind, off in the distance was a soul sand valley with a bastion standing proud. To get to the kingdom though, you'd need to either find a path to walk or fly over the basalt delta.

It seemed easier to just fly over, however your new fish-like friend and her crew would have to walk. Suddenly an idea popped into your head and you called your mom for her attention. After a bit of negotiating, you got your mom to agree. Her and the King of Oceadom stood tall in front of the two troops.

"Kingdom of Corvid and Kingdom of Oceadom!" Your mother's voice peirced the air. "We have come to an agreement that the kingdom of Corvid will help the Kingdom of Oceadom across the basalt delta! Everyone find a buddy from the neighboring kingdom to be flown across!"

Within seconds everyone had a partner and you all were off, of course, you had Sally, seeing as the two of you had grown a bit close over the time of walking.

"Woah! Its so much more breezy up here! This is so fun!" Sally laughed, looking around at everything and anything.

You smiled at her before decending to the ground on the other side of the basalt delta. "I'm glad you enjoyed it!"

"Thank you so much for coming up with that idea!" Sally laughed.

You nodded your head and moved your arm a bit to be more comfortable as Sally linked the two of your arms. The two of you followed your parents through the town where a Netherian guard greeted you and began to lead you towards the castle.

As you entered the castle, you began to notice the more intricate inner linings, despite the dull outside looks.

"Ahhh! Welcome! Corvid Kingdom and Oceadom Kingdom! Its a pleasure to have you! We invite you all to stay and find a routine to keep yourselves comfortable before the events begin!" A tall man, with black crow feathers that were very similar to your fathers, but still slightly different.

"King Philza! It will be our pleasure." Your father smiled at his best friend.

You faintly recalled the story of how Philza gained his power. He was on of your father's top Guards when he was young, always going to other kingdoms with your father. King Phil at the time had been guarding your father at the time while in the Nether Kingdom. Apparently he and Kristin, the Nether Princess, fell in love, causing Philza to choose to leave the Corvid Kingdom and Rule the Nether with Kristin.

A guard walked up to you and your brother, interrupting your thought process. "We'll take you to your rooms." They informed you.

Immediately, you started following him, your brother right on your tail. It seemed everyone had their own guard leading them to their rooms as you could see your parents following their own Netherian guard. Your guard seemed to be a wither skeleton based on how the parts of him that were visible seemed to blend in with the surroundings, making him almost invisible.

It wasn't long before you were brought to your room and your brother stationed himself outside of it. The guard bid you a quick Farwell before heading off to do his own thing.

"You can choose my second guard. I trust your choice. Have whoever it is rest now, this way they can take over your shift in 4 hours. After that, I want the guard shifts to be every eight hours. Ok?" You gave your brother a stern look, making sure he knew you weren't playing. "I will be setting an alarm to check."

He nodded and bid you a good night before you stepped into your room, excited to see how it looked. On one end was a dresser and a wardrobe, both very elegant in their craftsmanship. The other held a bed where you will sleep. Faintly, you wondered if you could get the sheets on the bed to shape like a nest. On the wall opposite of you was a wall of snow. You walked over, touching the snow to notice it really was extremely cold. This would be nice for the mer people in Sally's kingdom you figured, however you were confused how it turned to snow and didn't evaporate.

With a sigh, you put your thoughts aside and made your way over to the bed, doing your best to shape it comfortably so that your wings could rest easy. It wasn't long after you had gotten comfortable, that you were out, exhausted from the long journey.
