Chapter 3

"Really?" I think I said that with a disgusted look on my face as I saw his smile fade. "Well don't just sit there get out and show me around" I say making his smile come back.

He runs to open the door for me and then opens his house door.

"Hey little guys" He says to his dogs while petting them. I reach down and let my hand out to them before petting them.

"They're cute" I say with a smile, "How old are they?"

"The short brown one is Stacy she's 10 and the tall fluffy one is Paco he's 3" He says looking at me. "Ready to see the rest?"

"Sure!"

"Okay here's the kitchen. Hungry?" He asks with a questioned face.

"Nah not really" I tell him not wanting to feel too comfortable

"Okay well the only other rooms down here are the bathroom, living room and laundry." He says chuckling and walking upstairs. "I'd show you the other rooms but that would be somewhat of an invasion of privacy so, here my room" He says as he opens the door. I enter a gray room with a queen size bed in the middle. Looking around I realize that he still has an addiction with star wars. I walk over to his white desk, beginning to catch the theme in here.

"White and gray. Favorite colors?" I ask him smiling

"Heh yeah, simple but not too simple" He says while putting his bag on the floor near his bed. "Are you sure you're not hungry?" He asks, looking really concerned this time.

"I'm positive, I have to finish this icebreaker assignment for Mr. Wicks class anyway" I tell him

"Oh me too, let's do it together. I'll get to know you some more and you'll get to know me more." He says with a smirk

"Okay, deal"

We continue to finish the assignment and talk a little after.

"Is anybody coming home tonight?" I ask him

"Nah, they went out to my grandparents house for the week. I wanted to go but I refused to miss my first day of high school" He tells me looking at his hands. He was doing this thing with his fingers. Touching his pointer to his thumb then his ring finger, he continues to do the same thing with his middle and pinky fingers. The pattern goes 1324.

"What's that?" I ask him wondering why he's doing it.

"Oh I do it when I'm talking about personal things or get nervous ."

"I didn't mean for this to get personal. Sorry, I can go now" I tell him while getting up to get my bag.

"No, it's fine Sienna, and you don't have to apologize to me anymore" He says, grabbing my hand again. "Stay, please, I don't like being alone" He has a sorrowful look on his face doing the finger thing again.

"Okay so-" I try to continue my sentence but he cuts me off. I see him staring into my eyes. I hate eye contact so I look away. "What??" I ask him as I can feel his eyes still looking at me.

"Nothing." He says but sounds like he's not done. "I like admiring beauty"

His comment makes me blush and my eyes begin to look at my shoes.

"Why are you looking at your feet?" He asks, chuckling and lifting my chin so I'm looking at him now.

"Sorry it's just something I do when I'm nervous"

"Didn't mean to make you nervous"

"No it's fine" I try my hardest to not look at his lips but they look so soft.

Our heads lean towards each other as we go in for a kiss. His hand is placed on my thigh and very slowly moves it up. Our lips are a centimeter apart before somebody knocks on his door. He jumps back and he goes down to answer the door.

"Amazon delivery" He tells me chuckling when he puts the package on his desk.

"I should probably go, it's getting late and all." I tell him up and grab my bag again.

"You can stay here if you don't want to go home and be alone. After all, you're going to be alone for 1 months so one night can't hurt." He tells me this looking happy and hoping I agree to this arrangement.

I forgot that I had told him that my family is going to Arizona and New Mexico for July then coming back in August. Then my mom is taking my brother to Japan for their birthday as they're geeks for Anime.

"Okay" I say with a smile "I'll stay, but only for one night. Do you mind if I take a shower?" I ask him not remembering that I don't have any clothes here and it's too dark and scary to walk back to my house that's right across the walkway. Literally.

"Yeah right down the hall. Do you need clothes?" He asks me with that iconic smirk on his face again.

"Yeah" I say with a smile on my face "Thank you." He gets up and hands me a t- shirt that says "MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU" I chuckle and say thank you then go into the bathroom.

I get out of the shower and go downstairs smelling good food. "Are you cooking something?" I ask him on the last step turning to head towards the kitchen. He turns around and I see his dreamy brown eyes and hair turn around when I ask him.

"Yeah I figured you'd be hungry, after all I am." He tells me with a smile.

"Thanks" I tell him while sitting down on the barstool that's at the counter.

We don't eat in silence but we don't talk a lot while eating. We clean up and he tells me I can sleep in his bed and he'll sleep on the couch. 

"No you can sleep on your bed" I tell him as he starts bringing pillows down to the couch.

"No ma'am you get the bed I get the couch"

"Rock, paper, scissors for it"

"Sienna, you are sleeping on the bed. That's final"

"No. Why don't you sleep in your sister's room?"

"On a toddler bed?"

"Moms?"

"She locks her door. Doesn't want us in there. I don't blame her. I mean if I had a kid as nosey as my sister is I'd lock my door too."

"Okay then your brothers? He isn't here so it's a free room."

"He comes in late at night and locks it"

"Does your mom and brother have a locked door kink?"

"Hahaha no, they just like their privacy. Now go to bed we have school tomorrow"

"Lets go. We can make a pillow barrier. I mean this with all respect, your couch is very uncomfortable so I refuse to let you sleep on it."

"Fine"

We walk upstairs and start making the pillow wall. I start falling asleep when I hear the floor creak. I sit up and see him trying to go downstairs, too tired to do or say anything I go right back to sleep.
