Merlin was very puzzled. Usually when someone found out about his magic, they were surprised, or shocked. Amy just seemed to take it in her stride, like most other things. After about 10 minutes more of walking, they were there. At the magic blue box. She took it a small key, smaller then Merlin had ever seen, and turned it. The lock had been well worn and she didn't need to try very hard to get the door open. She hopped in, and with just her head peeking out, she beckoned Merlin in.
"I know your secret, It's only fair that you know mine."
Merlin reluctantly stepped inside the blue box. Instantly he knew that it was not from anywhere he knew. It was so much larger, and the space inside could have fitted hundreds of people inside it. He thought magic had been used, but not even he had that much power.
"But how?" He asked her.
"No idea. Keep asking him how it works, but then he just starts going on about stuff and I get bored." She answered.
"So you, live in here?"
"Not really. Well sometimes. Me and Rory have a house back in Leadworth, but when we travel with the Doctor.. I suppose."
Amy walked over to the big central pillar. It had lots of different coloured lights on it, flashing and beeping and generally confusing. She pressed a button, and a small red box rose from within. She grabbed it, put it in her pocket, and beckoned for Merlin to follow her as she left the TARDIS. Just before he left, he took one long look at the huge room inside the small blue box. It was beautiful. He was just about to turn and leave when he thought he saw something out of the corner of his eye. He looked again, and thought he was just seeing things, so turned his back and slowly walked out of the TARDIS.

Having shown Rory back to his chambers, Gaius decided to go back to Gwen's side to see if whatever the new doctor had given her worked. He was astonished to find yet another man in there.
"Hello. You must be Gaius. I'm the Doctor" The man said, with a polite nod of his head. This was a bit out of place, however, as this Doctor person was standing on top of the desk with a silver instrument that was making a funny buzzing noise.
"Hello" Gaius replied, very confused.
The Doctor jumped off the table and went over to Gaius. "So, how is the Queen?" He asked
"Getting worse. Another man came in and put this on her" He gestured to the ice pack "But I'm not sure if it's actually doing anything."
"Good old Rory, always ahead of me. Well, nearly almost, well not normally. Barely at all really." He humbled on to himself before remembering Gaius was still there "Anyway, what do you think is wrong with her?"
"It's hard to say. I've never seen anything like it in my life, and I have lived for many years."
"I'm way older then you and even I haven't seen anything like this before. When did this start"
"Well she started getting a fever about a month ago, but she's only got really bad in these last few days." He hesitated for a moment "What do you mean you are older than me? You are a young man."
" If only" The Doctor said, staring out of the window "Anyway," He got the silver thing out again and made it light up and buzz, pointing at the queen for a few seconds. He looked at it
"Oh, that is very bad... Very not good."
"What? how can you possibly know what is wrong with her from that? What is it?"
"Doesn't matter" The Doctor said "Now, if what I think is right, which it usually is, she has about two days, three hours and twelve - maybe thirteen - minutes to live. But don't worry-" He added quickly, seeing the shocked look on Gaius' face "I know what to do. We can almost certainly save her. Now where has Pond got to?"

"So, what do you do, with him?" Merlin asked Amy, curious to know
"We travel around, mostly for fun, saving planets, meeting new species, and then we just go home and pretend that none of it ever happened. It's fun, you know, as long as you don't die or anything."
Merlin was silent after this comment, and kept walking stowly through the forest he knew so well
"What about you?" Amy asked him "What even is magic. I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist. Are you an alien?"
"I am not an alien"
"Then how does the whole magic thing work?"
"That's a question for Gaius"
"Who's he?"
"You haven't met him yet? He's the court physician"
"Right, so he makes people better"
"Normally, but this time he's having trouble. Thats why we need this Doctor to help us. Is he clever? It's just, he seems a bit odd"
"He's fine. A bit bonkers at times but generally the cleverest man I know. If he can't cure her, no one can. "
