Merlin was beginning to panic. He had been looking for a long time now, and knew that whoever had taken it had known exactly where to look. He was just about to give up when he saw something move, just in the corner of his eye. He went out of his room, closed the door and followed it without making a sound. He took the potion for Gaius, and followed whatever it was out the door.

The Doctor walked into his chambers and closed the door behind him with a sigh. He looked around quickly to check no one was there, and quickly used his sonice screwdriver to lock it behind him. No luck. "I really should make a wood setting" He thought to himself.
Trying to hide something you shouldn't really have, a very big something, was very exhausting. He sat on his bed and took out the book that he had found in Merlin's room.
"I didn't steal it, I borrowed it. I'll give it back" He muttered to himself.
He looked through the book. Most of it was in a language he had never seen before. There were beautiful pictures and little notes and corrections scribbled in the side, and it was full of other pages and extracts from other books. He had no doubt Merlin would notice it was missing, so he decided he would take it back to Merlin's room. "One last check though" he thought, and he pulled out his sonic screwdriver. The end glowed in as he scanned it but as far as he could tell it was just a normal book. Nothing special about it at all.
The Doctor went back to Gaius' chambers with the book carefully concealed, but when he opened the door he instantly knew something was wrong. Merlin was there, and looking around his room for the book. The Doctor quickly closed the door behind him and ran back to his room as quickly as his feet would carry him.

Merlin ran and ran until eventually he reached the Doctor's chambers. He hadn't been too sure about the Doctor's morals, but thought he had figured them out after seeing his friends and his amazing blue box. He knocked on the door.
"Hello?"
No reply. He knocked and called again.
"Is anyone there?"
He went to open the door, and found it was locked
"Tóspringe."
He muttered the spell under his breath as his eyes glowed gold. The door unocked itself with a "click" and he slowly pushed it open, bracing himself for the worst.

The Doctor quickly shoved the book under his matress. He could hear Merlin at the door, asking if anyone was there and hurried. He understood it now, the legend was true. He stood back and was satisfied that the book was hidden and hid himself underneath the bed just as Merlin opened the door.
Merlin walked around the room and the Doctor started to feel a tickling feeling in his nose.
'No' he told himself 'Not now' But it was too late. It was, quite possibly the loudest sneeze he had ever made.
