Merlin was talking to Gaius. It had been a long day, and after several hours of searching the castle for something, The Doctor decided that he was done. Merlin still had no idea of what he had done, but the Queen still wasn't healed, and according to Gaius she was getting a lot worse.

"Her breathing is becoming more uneven" Gaius told him. "There is little more that we can do. Not even your magic could save her. lets just hope that this Doctor can"

"Has he even seen Gwen?" Merlin asked

"Not while I was in there, and I have only left her bed side for a few minutes to get some fresh water. It is very peculiar how he just seems to know. The other man, Rory, he seemed to know what he was doing more than the Doctor. His methods were very advanced for one so young."

Merlin hadn't told Gaius what they had said about time travel. He still thought that the Doctor was using magic, he just wasn't quite sure how. He decided to go and ask, and without another word, he got, up, and went to go and see them.

Amy loved her and Rory's bed. It was the grandest thing she had ever seen. It was a four poster, and it had the most beautiful silk sheets and matress that made her want to fall asleep just by laying her head on the pillow for a second. There was one problem though.

"Doctor!" She yelled

"What is it now?" The Doctor was examining the fruit bowl "Can't beat a good fruit bowl. I love grapes, you can keep the apples though" He said, as he chucked it over to Amy.

" I don't have my ring" She whispered

"What?"

"I don't have it. Don't tell Rory or he'll kill me. I need to get it back"

"Fine. We'll have to go back to the TARDIS. Get your coat on Pond"

Amy was just walking towards the door when it opened and Merlin burst in.

"Going somewhere?" He asked.

"No..." Amy said, backing away from the door "I was just..." She tried her best to lie but then decided not to

"I was just.. Going for a walk" She muttered

"Really" She could tell Merlin didn't believe her "Actually, I'd like to have a word with the Doctor"

The Doctor peered round the corner. He had the fruit bowl on his head.

"Hello! Merlin, wasn't it? Yes. What is it?" He turned around quite sharply and the fruit pored out of the fruit bowl. Merlin rushed over to pick it up again, but the Doctor had already started. he picked up four apples, and started to juggle them.

"Love juggling. Learnt in the circus. A clown taught it to to me. Good old Bippo.Nice guy. Shame about the knife throwing.." He drifted off, and dropped the apples. "No time for that. Anyway, Merlin, what is it?"

Merlin seemed a bit taken aback. He had absolutely no idea what was going on and was a bit nervous of this man. He could sense something new, something that wasn't magic, but something similar. Something different. Something new.

"Hello. I was just um-" He hesitated "-Checking you were settled in alright" He decided to save his questions until later.
