"Come on Valerie! It's in London! We have to go before we start college! And you know with the backstage pass we will most likely meet the boys." Rebecca complained. I sighed and laughed at her reaction. "Okay, okay. We'll go but only because you know I have a thing for Harry." I said laughing. Rebecca and I have been best friends since high school and even if she was crazy and sometimes obnoxious I still loved her like a sister. We were going to start college in a couple of months and we had made a bucket list on what to do before we started. On that list was to go to a One Direction concert. When Rebecca announced that she got tickets and backstage passes to a concert I assumed it was in state. But when she said it was in London, I became a little unsure about going. "We put on our list that we would travel to a different country and we would fall in love with Niall and Harry. If we go then we would get three things crossed off our list." Rebecca had said when I began to say no.

Once I had agreed, Rebecca began to run around grabbing clothes and throwing them onto her bed. "What are you doing?" I asked her. "What does it look like I'm doing? I'm picking our outfits for when we go to London." She answered rather sarcastically. I rolled my eyes. "It's not like we're gunna leave right now though." I said. Rebecca turned around and put her hands on her hips. "No but we are leaving in a week so we better get packing." She said. I laughed. "Alright. What do we need to buy?" I asked getting up to help her. For the next couple of hours we were sorting through our clothes and wrote down what we needed to buy to complete our outfits. We wanted everything to be perfect for when we first meet One Direction so we were willing to risk a shopping trip. "Let's go shopping tomorrow. I'm too tired to go out." Rebecca said flopping over to lay on her bed. "Agreed." I said. She giggled as a feather fell on her nose. "Do you think we'll meet them?" Rebecca asked a little worriedly. I shrugged. "Maybe. And maybe Niall will fall in love with you." I said teasing her. She laughed.

"Right. Like he would fall in love with a girl who doesn't even know what's going on in her life." She said. I heard the hurt behind her tone. "Anything you wanna talk about?" I asked knowing very well what was on her mind. Rebecca suddenly sat up. "It's Isaiah. He's being weird and I know he said we could still be friends and all but I know he wants me back. I don't even know what's going on with us anymore." Rebecca said sadly. I nodded. Isaiah was her boyfriend of three years and as of late they haven't been officially together. Since they were going to different colleges they decided to stay friends and see where it went after they finished college. It was pretty obvious that neither of them wanted to do it but neither of them knew what would happen with them being so apart. Everyone could see it was meant to be with them because he would look at her everyday like it was the first and last time he would see her. "Things will get better. It's a good thing we're going to London cause now it'll take your mind off of it." I said trying to comfort her. She smiled weakly. "Let's eat something. I'm starving." Rebecca said out of random. I laughed. I always told her that she and Niall would be perfect for each other because she had a hunger that would rival his. We ordered pizza and watched tv for the rest of the evening.

The next morning we got up early enough to start shopping. Rebecca only needed new heels and a few shirts. I needed jeans and shirts. We were almost done when we decided to have lunch. "Do you think we'll even get to meet the boys?" I asked Rebecca. She was too busy looking over the menu to notice my question. I threw my straw wrapper at her. She glanced up. "What?" She asked. I rolled my eyes. "I swear if Niall doesn't love how much you love food then there is something wrong with that boy." I laughed. She smiled at my comment.

A few days later.....

"Call me when you girls land and make it safe to your hotel." My mom said hugging me one last time. I nodded. "I'll take good care of Valerie. Don't you worry." Rebecca said. My mom gave her a look. "That's what worries me." My mom said. Rebecca just laughed. It was very well known by anyone who spent more than ten minutes with Rebecca would figure out that she was the most clumsy person and would fall over for no reason. "We'll be fine mom." I said hugging her again. I kissed her cheek and ran off with Rebecca to the security line. We went through security and got lost looking for the gate we were supposed to go but found it with five minutes to spare. "That was close. We would be stuck here for an extra hour if we didn't find the gate." Rebecca said. I nodded.

Once we were on the plane and in our seats we began to bubble with excitement. It was finally hitting us that we were going to London. To meet One Direction. With backstage passes. "I can't believe we're actually going to their concert!" I said excitedly. Rebecca was jumping in her seat, unable to keep calm. We giggled like sill school girls as the plane took off. We tried to keep ourselves busy for the hours we were to sit until we landed. "Hello passengers. We are about to land in a couple of minutes so please take your seats and buckle up and thank you for choosing to fly with us." The pilot said in the intercom. Rebecca began bouncing in her seat again. I laughed, "Here we go."
