Chapter 12- Being in Love

(Valerie's POV)

I looked at her with wide eyes. "Don't look so surprised. It's obvious with how you look at him. To be honest, I still think he's an ass for what he did to you but he makes you happy so that's all I can ask for." She said. I looked down at my nails. "What about Harry?" I asked quietly. I saw her shrug from the corner of my eye. "I think he's an ass too for the same reason but he loved you." Rebecca said nonchalantly. My head snapped up to look at her. There was no sign that she was kidding around. "You think Harry loved me? Then why would he break up with me?" I ask her. She shrugs again. "That's what I'm trying to figure out myself. I think he broke up with you because he loved you. It's pretty obvious that he's in love with you with the way he acts." She said walking out of the bathroom. She was playing with me. There was no way Harry was in love with me.

Around six, Chris came and picked me up to go to the concert. Thomas arrived around the same time and we left to the concert. Unlike the other crazed fans who can get any kind of pass to go backstage or go to a meet-and-greet, Rebecca and I had a One-D platinum pass. It allowed us to have all kinda of access to the boys events. So when the fans can only go backstage, we can go not only backstage but also to their dressing room and other areas. I grabbed my purse before we exited the car. "I can't believe you wanted to come with me to the concert." I told Chris as we walked around to the back entrance. He shrugged. "It's not big deal." He said putting his arm around my waist. I smiled and leaned into him slightly. "You two have fun!" Rebecca said walking away with Thomas. I was about to ask her where she was going but she turned a corner and was gone. I sighed and smiled up at Chris. This was going to be a long night.

(Harry's POV)

My stylists was putting the finishing touches when Louis walked into the room. "Hazza!" He exclaimed. I laughed at his silliness. "Rebecca and Thomas are here and they said hurry up getting pretty." Louis said patting the top of my head. I rolled my eyes but walked out to say hello to Rebecca and Thomas. "Why didn't you just come in to say hi instead of sending Louis?" I asked her. "Because I didn't know if you were dressed or in the nude. I know how you like to get naked so I was just being cautious." Rebecca laughed. I bean to look around to see if Valerie was here. I don't know what happened last night when I punched that guy Christopher in the face but I wanted to apologize to Valerie. "Are you looking for Valerie?" Rebecca asked grabbing my attention. I looked down at her. "No..." I said trailing off my sentence. "Look Harry, she's my best friend and is like a sister to me. You're lucky I didn't beat you within an inch of your life when you broke up with her. But I know how you really feel about her and that's part of the reason why I didn't murder you." She said.

"What's the other reason why you didn't kill me?" I asked a little worried. "Because I know how she feels about you and she would've never forgiven me if I had beaten you." She said. "What did you do when her ex broke up with her?" I asked. She smiled. "I decked him pretty good." Rebecca said with a laugh. I noticed Thomas didn't say anything about this. "What is she talking about?" I asked him. He smiled down at his fiancée. "When Valerie came running to Rebecca after Chris broke up with her, Rebecca hunted him down at lunch. When she found him with his friends, she grabbed his shirt brought him down to her height and punched him in the nose. She broke his nose and would've done more damage if Chris's friends hadn't pulled her off of him." Thomas said. I laughed at imagining Rebecca punching someone double her height and breaking their nose. "So what do you mean when I'm lucky?" I asked Rebecca. She sighed and grabbed my hand and squeezed. I wasn't prepare for what she said next, "If I'm right, I think she's in love with you but won't admit it."
