(Valerie's POV)
Rebecca and I were done fooling around in the wedding dresses and were heading back to our apartment. "So I feel bad, but Thomas and I have date night tonight..." Rebecca said fiddling with her fingers. I rolled my eyes with a laugh. "That's okay. I think I'll just watch a movie tonight while you're out. You and Thomas haven't spent a lot of time together so you guys deserve it." I said as I parked in our garage. Rebecca smiled and ran inside to get ready for her date. Even after years of being together, she still acted like a teenager going on a date for the first time with the boy she's been crushing on for months. It was cute how they acted around each other. I found myself thinking about Harry and how he made me feel. I shook my head, trying to rid myself of the thoughts that were just going to cause me pain.
I grabbed a bag of popcorn and put it in the microwave. I began to make my favorite snacks to watch the endless amount of movies I knew I was going to watch. "Okay. I'm off now. Are you sure you'll be okay here alone? I could call one of the guys to stay with you?" Rebecca asked coming into the kitchen. She was wearing her fancy dress, so I assumed that Thomas had some big plans for tonight. "Yeah I'm sure. It's not like I haven't been home alone before." I told Rebecca. She nodded and picked up her clutch, waving goodbye to me. I finished making my snacks and went in to put in the first movie of the night. 'The Notebook'. I sat down on the couch. The movie had just started when the there was a knock on the door. I sighed getting up to see who it was at the door. I thought it was Rebecca who had forgotten her keys, but I was surprised it was Harry. At first I was surprised to see him there but then I became a little peeved because I told Rebecca not to call any of the boys to stay with me.
"What are you doing here?" I asked him. He looked a little shameful standing there but he looked up at me with...hope? "Is Rebecca here?" He asked. I shook my head. "Where did she go?" Harry asked taking a step closer to me. I took a tentative step backwards. "On a date with Thomas and I don't know when she's getting back." I said, ready to close the door in Harry's face. "Are you here alone?" He asked looking in the apartment. I nodded, my heart racing. "What are you up to?" He asked taking another step towards me.
I gulped loudly. "Watching movies." I said becoming shy. "Mind if I join you?" Harry asked looking me in the eye. I paused thinking about it. "Did Rebecca put you up to this?" I asked Harry. He shook his head. "No. I came to drop off the name and address of the places that we can get the suits for the wedding." He said pulling out a piece of paper with various names and numbers on it. I nodded my head slowly. "So do you mind if I join you?" Harry asked grabbing my attention again. I thought about it. Did I want Harry to join me in watching movies and snacking on my favorite foods. "I want to make it up to you Valerie." He said suddenly. I looked at him closely. "Can we start it all over again?" Harry sang. My heart pounded in my chest.
I nodded slowly, opening the door more for him. He walked in and we sat on the couch. Maybe I was crazy for letting Harry watch movies with me. And maybe it was just right.
**a little short but the next chapter is all Valrry (ship name :D) and maybe they get back together**
