Am I...gay?? Pt 2

It had been about a week since me and George talked. He was still taking his Shakespeare classes and talking funny. We had been thinking of what tasks we should test him with.
1. Loyalty
2. Kindness
3. Looks

Number 3 was already done just looking into his shimmer eyes I knew his looks did not matter. It was his personality. Our first task I asked him to george to ask him to help him study for the transfiguration test.
Then I would ask him if he wanted to go see a movie. If he went to see the movie he wasn't loyal. If he helped George he passed.
GEORGES POV
To be honest I was scared. I didn't like men and I didn't want y/n to think I liked him. I suddenly saw him come around the corner.
"Hey! Uh y/n is it?"
"Yes hi George."
"Just a question can you help me study for the transfiguration test?"
"Oh sure! How's tomorrow at 4:30?"
"Sounds good."

TIME SKIP
FREDS POV

I was bouncing my leg up and down out of pure anxiety. What if I fumbled over my words and he laughed at me. What if I tripped coming over too talk to him and he laughed at me. Most of these scenarios ended with him laughing at me. I saw him enter the common room. I hopped up and walked slowly over too him.
"Uh hi uh y/n I was wondering if maybe you wanted too..."
His eyes stared at me they felt like pools that I could get lost in. Forever.
"Too go to the movies with me tomorrow at 4:30?"
"Oh I'd love too!"
My heart sank a bit
"But I have already promised your brother that I would help him study for the transfiguration test. Im sorry. I really would love to go."

"Oh that's alright." I said trying to sound hurt
"Sorry once again."
"No need my brother needs all the help he can get." I laughed
He smiled and the butterflies in my stomach danced around.

The next few days were a blur me and George decided that the kindness test would be to have me act hurt and see what he do.

TW INTENTIONAL SELF HARM FOR THE KINDNESS TEST! THIS IS WHAT I FEEL WOULD HAPPEN!
I got a thumb tack and scratched at my skin. Til it was red and bleeding.
I sat there waiting for what would happen. He entered my door and saw my hand, and me clutching it.
He rushed over looking worried.
"What. Happened." He said bearing his teeth
" I got scratched by a cat."
"Freddie... tell me the truth."
"It is the truth!"
He fell quiet for a moment.
"Fine. But let me help you bandage it."
He went into the bathroom and got some bandaids, he sat down next to me and placed them on me, looking up and smiling at me. His very smile was enough for me to faint.
He was the one. I just had to prove it to him.

A couple days later and I was ready. Ready to tell him. I'd sent him an anonymous letter saying

I was ready. I'd set up fairy lights and a telescope so we could gaze at the stars. I knew his favorite place was the astronomy tower, but I didn't want to get caught out of bed. It was an hour after dusk and he still wasn't here. Thinking I was stood up, I slowly got up and started to take down my fairy lights and telescope. Walking back to the tower I had the map out and saw y/n l/n walking towards me. I stopped in my tracks thats when I saw bright lights coming my way.
"Shit-" I whispered thinking I packed everything up too early.
"Fred?" He asked.
"Yep yeah that's- that's me."
"I was just on my way to see you."
"Me? How'd you know it was me?"
"You don't think I hear eveything you say under her breath? I kinda guessed it was you." He punched my arm softly
"Oh well I'm sorry."
"Sorry. Sorry? SORRY! Fred this is the happiest I've ever been! I've liked you since year 2."
Without a beat he crashed his lips onto mine. We stayed there for a second. Breaking our lips apart we let the kiss linger a little.
"I've wanted to do that all year."
"I've wanted to do that since year 2."
