⌗009. [2023] Press Conference For The GRAMMYs

[Diana's POV]

As soon as I entered the conference hall, I was truly amazed at how huge it was. There were at least 300 single seats in the audience with long tables in front of them. There were a lot of cameras too.

I wowed and gasped when I saw the huge backdrop behind the seats for 24 of us later on. This time around, NCT and I will be in the same press conference. It's going to be a huge conference.

The backdrop was wrapped with one kind of plastic that has logos printed on it. There are SM Entertainment's logo, HYBE's logo, NCT and my logo too. And the GRAMMYs.

"Diana-ssi," I heard Manager Lee called.

"Nae?" I replied and turned towards him.

"Rehearse for the opening performance first." He said, giving me my microphone.

"Nae," I nodded while taking the microphone.

"You're gonna stand here and sing here. This X mark here." The stage director said.

"Oh, okay." I nodded as I walked and stand on the X mark that has been stick on the floor.

"Alright, first rehearsal for Diana Park! Capital Letter!" the stage director said through her headset.

For the opening performance and opening of the press conference, they had asked me to perform one song which is Capital Letter. It's one of the most requested song to perform.

I rehearsed two times before NCT arrives to the conference hall. When they arrived, the director and staffs briefed us about the press conference and the main topic for the conference.

Well, this is not my first time having a press conference outside of South Korea. But this is NCT's first time. I had my press conference when I sold out a lot of stadiums in America.

We were briefed about the possible questions that could be asked. We were given some papers to review the questions that might be asked and we were reminded to be cautious about our answers.

There will be 312 journalists who are going to attend this press conference. Another few hundreds will be joining through YouTube live stream. Fans or anyone else can watch the press conference through HYBE Label and SM Entertainment's official YouTube channel.

There will be live translator. The press conference is going to be held mainly in English but there will be translators since there are also Korean journalists and journalists who came from other countries.

Almost half of the journalists came from different countries such as Singapore, India, Indonesia, Japan, and a lot more countries. That's what the director told us all just now.

The briefing and rehearsal took around 2 and a half hours. After that, we went to the greenroom to have lunch and get ready for the conference. The press conference will start at 3 pm.

I grinned while watching the younger members of NCT record themselves while doing a TikTok challenge. I continue scrolling through my phone screen, reading the review from judges.
