"sage!" mom called out. "someone's here for you!"

i told her to just text me when she got here.

i sighed as i moved tito from my lap before pulling on a pair of shoes. i grabbed my book bag, then walked out of my room and walked to the front door.

"hey, sav." billie greeted as she subtly looked me up and down.

"hey."

"sav?" mom raised a brow.

"it's my initials," i explained. "i'm going over to her house to work on a project; i don't know how long it'll take though."

"that's fine, sweetie. just be home at a decent hour and let me know when you're back." mom gave a smile.

"yeah, of course." i gave a nod before walking out of the house.

i followed billie to her car. my jaw dropped as i saw that it was a matte black dodge challenger.

i was confused when she insisted that she come pick me up instead of me driving to her house... but i won't complain.

"your car is sexy." i marveled.

"thank you," she grinned. "her name's dragon."

i nodded as i admired the outside of it for a moment longer before getting into the passenger seat. i then looked around the interior as well. i looked to the backseat, and saw that it was pretty spacious.

"and why didn't we fuck in here the other day?" i raised a brow.

she snorted. "i told you that i had parked it on the other side of the school. we can fuck in it some other time though, don't worry." she winked before backing out of my driveway.

"shut up."

"you gonna make me?" she raised a brow.

"bottom." i said through a cough.

"i am not a bottom." she scoffed.

"bro, anybody who says 'make me' is most definitely a bottom," i sent a pointed look. "and you just said it, so, connect the dots."

"i'll show you." she ran her tongue over teeth.

"mhm," i hummed sarcastically. "i'm sure you will."

"um, pepper shouldn't bite you, but if she does... please, don't sue me." billie told me as we got out of her car.

"oh, now i'm definitely suing you if she bites me."

she narrowed her eyes at me and i just gave an innocent smile. we then walked up to her front door, and she used her key to unlock it.

i heard paws hit the floor, and i looked to see her dog come up to us. pepper noticed me and barked as she backed up a bit.

i bent down and held my hand out to her. she was cautious at first, but then came over to sniff my hand. after a while, she let me pet her, which made me smile.

"that's shocking." billie commented.

"hm?" i raised a brow.

"she usually doesn't like new people." she explained.

i looked up at her, and i saw a soft smile on her face. i felt my face flush a bit before i looked back down at pepper to continue petting her.

after a moment or two, i stood up and adjusted the strap of my book bag on my shoulder. "so... the project; where can we work on it at?"
