Kagome is a miko who happens to be working for the biggest company in Tokyo. Taisho Corps. After her shift ended one day, she went to the nearby orphanage as she does, when a strangled noise was made in the nearby alleyway. This leads to Kagome going down the alley and finding two 15 year olds beating on what looked like an 8 year old half demon. Anger swelled in Kagome's chest and she scared the boys off.
Story goes along and Kagome adopts the boy along with one other kid. Her and Sesshomaru get along after events that occur and eventually fall in love.
