Kagome has been looking forward to this party for over three months now. The theme was dress as your polar opposite. So that's exactly what kagome did. She dressed as Sesshomaru not knwoing he was going to the party. Of course it was an office party and this is in the modern times. Kagome didn't realize that Sesshomaru survived that long until the night of the party.
