With Kōga married off to Ayame, it was all up to Ginta and Hakkaku to take care of the Eastern Wolf Demon Tribe. Ginta decided he would be leader and lord since Hakkaku just wanted to focus on making a family. One day while they were preparing for the upcoming winter, Kagome's group stopped by and it was a mess. Inuyasha was yelling all over the place, a wolf pup was threatened, and a protective Kagome shone through.
