Kikyo and Naraku get together so they can figure out a way to get rid of Kagome. They were able to come up with an idea to turn Kagome into a demon that could only live if she had a mate and was pregnant by the next full moon.
Of course there were also rules to this curse Kagome now had.
1. Her mate must love her from the very bottom of both his soul and heart.
2. There must be no doubts of this man ever loving someone else.
3. The child must be male when it is born in three moon cycles.
4. Her mate must be a demon and the child must be full demon
If all rules are met, then Kagome will become a regular Miko once more. Additionally she will also have defeated Naraku in the end, obtained a mate, and had offspring.
