PRESENCE : Tsukishima X Reader

"Hey! I'm Tanaka Ryūnosuke. To make it short, call me babe- Ow!", The other man said with a shaved head.

Y/N stopped staring at Tsukishima and looked at Tanaka.

"Stop flirting Tanaka!", Daichi's aura changed.

"Yeah you Unloyal Bald Guy"

"What was that?! Nishinoya!", Tanaka had his hand gripped on Nishinoya's shirt.

This time, Daichi's aura grew darker, making them stop from their actions and silently stood up straight again.

'That is weird', Y/N then looked at the little tangerine. "Nice to meet you! My name's Hinata Shoyo", he smiled with his eyes closed.

'Gosh, that was cute', she thought, trying to look away. The man beside Hinata spoke, "Kageyama Tobio". He sure is cold, but he looked at Y/N with full of curiosity in his eyes.

Y/N nodded then gave her attention to the adult looking man. 'I never thought an adult to join the team'. "Azumane Asahi. N-nice to meet you", he looked at the girl, his right hand on his nape. His smile was so gentle, making Y/N take back her words.

"Ennoshita Chikara. Hi L/N", he smiled calmly then Y/N nodded. The one with the light brown hair spoke, "Kinoshita Hisashi", and bowed at the same time with Y/N. "Narita Kazuhito", another bald man spoke.

"You probably know us already", Yamaguchi spoke, pointing himself and Tsukishima. Y/N smiled a little and nodded at the two.

"Ok! Now that introduction's over, do you play volleyball, Y/N?", She nodded at the captain. "Is that so? I never heard about someone new in the girl's volleyball team from Michimiya", then she quickly shook her head, telling him that she didn't join the club.

"Why?! You are wasting your skills!", Nishinoya blurted, Tanaka at his side agreeing to his statement. Y/N shyly lowered her head, getting a little embarrassed.

"You should've join the club Y/N!", Sugawara spoke, but Y/N didn't say anything. She kept her head low, not wanting to answer any further questions. "You sure talk a lot", Tanaka said sarcastically, getting a chop in the head from Daichi.

"Excuse me, may I ask how you received the ball?", Kageyama shyly joined the conversation. Y/N looked at him confused. "The ball, earlier", Kageyama added. Y/N looked away, trying to leave the question without a sincere answer. She looked back, noticing the sad eyes in Kageyama's face.

She sighed and opened her mouth, "I-I just received it. What's t-the point", she mumbled then looked away. "Oh, the troll talked", Tsukishima whispered at Yamaguchi, making him chuckle a little.

"That's! T-that's because..", Kageyama tried to find the words but ended up looking at Hinata, begging for help. "That was our quick attack!", Kageyama sighed, thanking Hinata on his mind.

"Q-quick attack?", She asked and they all nodded. 'That was a little slow though', she thought. "I was hoping if you could help us improve our attack. I mean, you can receive it so it probably lack something. But since you are not in the volleyball club, I doubt you'd accept the favor", Kageyama said, hoping she would say something positive.

'E-eh??!!', Y/N's head were full of thoughts. She never thought about going back to volleyball. Worse, how does she get to receive an offer she never expected? She lacks experience in volleyball. So, the reason on how she received that fast attack was still a mystery.

She looked away once again, thinking more about what she should do. She took deep breaths, and looked at all the members. "Show me what you got", and all of them got excited. Tsukishima looked at her, quite amused. Y/N noticed that and tried to hide her blushed cheeks

Two days had passed and they got used to Y/N. This time, she wanted to give her opinions and advice for improvement. She didn't want to communicate with them more, so she decided to bring some sticky notes, and different colors of pens.

"Bye mom!", Y/N shouted, getting out of the house. Her mom noticed the change, getting a little teary eyed. "She's finally excited going to school". Y/N walked silently in the neighborhood, while listening to her playlist.

She saw two figures on her front, slowly approaching them. She took off her earphones immediately and when she was close, she waved at the two men. "Oh! Y/N Good morning", Yamaguchi smiled and she smiled back. She noticed Tsukishima, with his headphones on. She picked up her courage and took out his headphones, saying, "Good morning".

Tsukishima looked at her annoyed. He sighed and took his headphones at Y/N's hand, but this time, he hung it in his neck. He looked at Y/N and gave her a gentle smile. "Good morning".

"Tsukki! Stop taking drugs!"

"Shut up, Yamaguchi"

'His block is a little edgy', Y/N judged Tsukishima's performance. It was their time of practice. They all divided into two, taking this game seriously. Y/N took out her sticky note, watching carefully at every move they do.

'He blocks well. He reads every situation perfect as well. Something's missing', she started writing something on her paper. During the game, she went to Tsukishima for a while. She tried sticking the note on the blonde's forehead, but her height disagreed.

She gave up, and stick it in his arms. Four-eyes noticed this and chuckled a little. "Grow more, troll", he looked at the paper and gave Y/N a shocked face.

'Take this seriously. Your blocks are too weak'

"What the-", he looked at her annoyed, but decided to keep that in mind. He went back to the game, while Y/N gave her attention to Asahi. Asahi spiked and Y/N started searching for something she could change for him. 'He spikes well, but he's kind of down', she wrote again and walked slowly to Asahi, her eyes focused on the note.

"Oh Y/N hi-", she put the note on Asahi's sweaty hands. She bowed and walked away.

'Your spikes are awesome. Just be more confident and don't be scared about the outcomes'

Asahi smiled and started to compliment himself on his mind. Y/N noticed this and had a small smile on her face. She quickly looked at Hinata and Kageyama, noticing that they are again doing their attack.

She rushed towards the team opposite to the two. She was on Tsukishima's side. She saw the ball being tossed by Kageyama and saw Hinata. 'His eyes are closed?!!'. Everything again moved in slow motion.

She focused on the ball. She crouched down and her hands clasped together. Her position was perfect. She felt a sting in her hands, the ball going up. Sugawara was shocked, who was also on Tsukishima's team. He took this chance to toss the ball on Tsukishima. Tsukishima noticed the sign and quickly jump, spiking the ball to the other side.

Everyone was shocked, the tables turning. "Slow!", Y/N blurted. She didn't expect those words to come out, but it happened anyway so she had no choice but to accept it.

"Ehhhhhhhhhh?!!!!", Everyone looked at her, not believing her words. "Man, you sure are fast", Tsukishima complimented. He let out his fist, "Nice receive, Shrimp", Y/N gladly fist bumped the lamppost.

She looked at the two students, taking out her sticky note once again. But she stopped her tracks, realizing that she has many things to advice. So she put the note back in her pockets, her mouth open. "That was slow", she mumbled.

She continued, "I prefer you Hinata, to open your eyes. Do not just rely on Kageyama's toss. Spike wherever you want", she stated and Hinata quickly nodded and decided to practice more with Kageyama.

"Ok! Time to wrap up", The captain said. Kiyoko prepared all the bottles and towels needed for the boys. Y/N quickly offered some help, which Kiyoko gladly agreed. The manager smiled causing the two man blush.

"Did you see that Nishinoya?", Tanaka's eyes are sparkling, receiving a nod from Nishinoya. Y/N smiled a little, getting used to this kind of life. She held two bottles which was personally for her classmates. She went near the blonde and Yamaguchi.

Yamaguchi thanked her, showing his best smile. Tsukishima just took the bottle and drank. Tsukishima took the towel, but Y/N's grip was too strong.

"What's wrong, Y/N?", Yamaguchi asked worriedly.

"I!"

Everyone looked at Y/N, giving her time to spit out her thoughts.

"I want to be your manager"
