"Let's go", Ukai shouted as he started the engine.
"We're so sorry Y/N", Kiyoko showed a sad expression, looking at Y/N who just shook her head. She showed up a thumbs up, her manager sighing as she took two bags, carrying it to the bus.
Some of the team looked back at the girl, standing in the bus' entrance. They sighed, one by one entering the vehicle as they try to remove in their minds that they're leaving someone behind.
"Y/N!", Hinata rushed to the girl who have lost her spirit. As he stopped, he whined and pretend to cry like a baby. "I'm really sorry. Today, we have a practice match and it really had the same date as your performance", he sighed as he attempts to touch the girl.
His partner chopped his head again, "Idiot". He looked at Y/N with pity as Kageyama bowed and the tangerine followed. "We're sorry. We tried to change the schedule but-"
Y/N just shook her head, deep down feeling sad as her team can't watch her play due to their busy schedule. Takeda just announced it yesterday, leaving everyone unprepared. He deeply apologizes as he just didn't want this opportunity to waste.
Everyone was leaping with joy, their smiles and excitement joining in. Y/N was so happy, but as she realized that she can't come, worst, it was her day to perform, she can't help but feel a little low.
Everyone stared at the quiet girl, tilting their heads as they took time to realize what happened. They gasped a little, finding a way to say something.
"Oh no"
"Teacher, we decline-", immediately, Y/N stopped the captain who was looking at her with concern. She slowly shook her head, her hands in front of them as a sign to stop any further arguments.
Some looked away, some sighed with pain. The four noisy ones whined, coming closer to Y/N as they want to watch her sing. The girl smiled sadly, shooking her head again.
She silently took a piece of paper, writing with a smile forming on her lips. She raised her hand, words written on the paper.
'Let's practice more'
She closed her eyes, smiling as she didn't want everyone to be down so it won't affect their training tomorrow.
"I-", Nishinoya bits his lip, his hand scratching his nape. Everyone looked at the paper, looking at each other as they slowly nod. They forced a smile, the libero looking at the ground as he slowly faced the girl.
"Let's practice our receives, Y/N"
She smiled more, the team calming down seeing her all happy and relaxed.
The teacher then took a paper, demanding a name for all players who will join the match. Everyone made a line, each taking turns to write their name. Some still tried to be hesitant, looking at the assistant before writing.
"Tsukki?", Yamaguchi tries to hand his pen on his back, only to find out his friend on the other side, hesitant to write his name.
"Tch. No", He looked away, not wanting to see the paper. Everyone looked at him as they adored his actions.
"Tsukishima", Ukai looked at him with rage, his eyes forming red circles.
"No"
Y/N, who took her time to process what happened, was in surprise. She immediately blushed, realizing the situation. She turned into a mad woman, going towards the blonde's direction.
She stomped her foot, grabbing his attention. As he looked at her blankly, she pointed at the paper.
"But-", she shook her head, her hands forming an 'X'. The salty fry found this cute, but he just looked away again, closing eyes.
