'May the floor eat me'
Y/N guided the visitor to the living room, offering him to sit down on the couch. Tsukishima sat down, and the girl stayed in a standing position, trying to process all the events that happened.
"I'm going to prepare dinner. Sit down and relax a bit... Tsukishima right?", The man nodded and thanked the mother for preparing his meal.
Y/N's mother immediately went to the kitchen, leaving both awkward students in a room. The nervous blonde started tapping his hands on his lap, while Y/N, stood there in silence, looking away.
Both their ears had heard nothing, until they adapt the silence and observed every small sounds. They started hearing the air roaming around the room. Their breaths, and the clock ticking. Tsukishima puts his hands on the couch, and felt the soft object.
"Soft couch", he stated. His eyes started wandering around the house, getting a look of each things. "Cool vase". He began his game of 'describing everything you see'. The clock, "Small clock". The shelf, "bland shelf". The ceiling, "Simple color".
"Salty fry"
"Mute Troll", he stared at the girl, smirking. "Hey, I'm not mute", she said, slowly sitting beside with Tsukishima.
"Only now, you're a talking troll", he said, laughing softly. Y/N looked away. She then faced the blonde and said, "Lamppost", then looked away again.
"Why?", He moved closer to the girl, making the girl shake a little. He tilted his head, but didn't get to see Y/N's whole face. He let his hand touch her chin, moving her face to see him and for him to see her as well.
"It is because I shine at times where you're in the dark?", This gave shivers to Y/N. His face was so close that almost their cheeks would touch. A color of rose appeared on her face, her heart beating loudly. "It's because you're tall. But if you're really a lamppost, I expect you to be useless. You'll make the night darker", she said, pushing him to get out of the tension.
"Ouch", Tsukishima acted like a knife went through his heart. He put his hand on his chest, pretending that those words killed him. Y/N rolled her eyes and looked away again. "You sure talk a lot when you're at home", Tsukishima faced at Y/N's back, with a generous smile.
"Cute", he stated, blushing a little. He then looked immediately to the side, noticing that Y/N turned around to face him as well. "C-cute?!"
"Dinner's ready!", A shout was heard, making Y/N hopeless. She felt a mix of all emotions. She blushed harder, and guided Tsukishima to the next room to eat. Tsukishima was honest that time. He thought that Y/N's voice gave him a different kick. A kick that will probably make him fall for something deeper than ever.
Tsukishima sat on a chair, a little uncomfy as the chair is only capable for a small height. He sighed, then both the mother and daughter sat as well. Y/N's eyes blinked many times from the sight.
"Mom...", She saw different plates of food. Soup, fried meat, every food that you would see in every special occasion. "Mom! This is too much. This is a feast. We're only three eating here, not 100", she explained, almost drooling from the sudden dinner.
"I thought we could celebrate for you having another friend beside you", the mother's hand was on her nape, chuckling a little. This made the blonde happy. He realized how much her mother cared for her that even if someone enters her life, she'll gratefully give special care to that person.
Y/N, on the other side, was a bit uneasy. 'She shouldn't do much just because of this guy', she thought. The thought of making lots of friends might make her mother faint made herself chuckle. They all say their grace and started digging in.
