"One more time!", Hinata shouted, grabbing all their attention
Sadly, this practice match proved Nekoma was no match for them. But hey, there's more room for improvement. Everyone was in exquisite delight welcoming their sweat as they had a happy moment.
Karasuno's ball of energy, Hinata, was confident to ask for another round of exhaustion, making the Nekoma extremely interested. They all agreed, but decided to take a break.
Y/N, who was watching the performance earlier, was more like Tsukishima's cheerleader, even though she was not shouting. She also gives attention to the two weapons, as she somehow sharpened their skills during the past few days. But deep down, she was panicking.
As she realized the Nekoma's Captain, her fiendish cousin, Kuroo. To her, she believed he was like the devil, but the way he treats other people was more concerning. He was kind, sometimes bold. To her point of view, he was a disgusting man roaming around her life.
Taking a break means needing the two managers presence. She quietly went to the court, her face covered with the face towels she was giving. She walked like a weirdo, acting obviously, causing the opposite team to look at her with a little disgust.
Everyone noticed this, also preventing themselves from calling her name. They knew something was wrong, but they deserved an explanation later. So, they let her act cool even though she was sneakily giving towels and bottles.
Well, except for Hinata, who's brain can't processed the signs. "Y/N!"
'So close', she cried in her thoughts, facing the tangerine guy.
"I'm sorry. I totally messed up the match right now", his hand reaching for his nape, disappointed look written in his face.
Y/N smiled at him sadly, praying that the man on the side had problem with his ears. But she gave up. She walked to Tsukishima last, giving the last bottle and towel. Tsukishima looked at her worriedly, but didn't dare to ask.
The girl's face was in a hopeless state, carrying her face with no emotions at all. She slowly walked away, her eyes focusing on the wooden floor. Her side view was exposed, making the Nekoma's Captain's predictions correct.
"Oh my, if it isn't my favorite cousin", Y/N started to stand properly, sighing as she have to deal with Kuroo. She looked at him with a straight face, nodding at him and slowly getting away from him.
"So, how's Auntie?", He asked, causing the girl to froze as he was referring to his mom. She didn't dare answer that. She knew every answer will be used a weapon to her in the future. Y/N decided to leave the question, getting near to the bench to sit down.
"I see"
"You're still not moving on", the girl immediately looked at Kuroo with anger filling her eyes. She gritted her teeth, holding herself from punching him in the face.
The staring contest was intense, Kuroo forming a smirk in his face. He playfully said, "Still a daddy's girl", then he took his bottle to drink.
'That's it', due to their height gap, it gave her a disadvantage. But no, she's not backing down. Like a dumbbell, she let her weight bend Kuroo as she slammed her hands in both his shoulders. She then let her hand grab the cat's wet shirt, her grip getting stronger.
"Still finding this funny, Rooster head?", She tried to make it as low as possible, but everyone have very good ears, shocked from her statement. Kuroo dropped the bottle, his hand reaching for her arm. Luckily, Y/N pushed Kuroo, but noticed that it didn't gave any effect at all.
Kuroo chuckled, his sweat dropping from his strand of hair. He grabbed the bottle, and replied a "yes" and slowly looked at Y/N.
She immediately let out a fake smile, preparing her revenge. Her hands were on her hips, confidence spreading through her body.
