Human Nature

There are only a few truths in the world

So why should I care about what you say?

There are only a few facts

That we know of

So why should I listen to them?

There are 7 billion people on Earth

So it doesn't matter that I'm here

What I listen to every day

Is the swarm of lies hitting me in the face

Born neutral we are, born without a thought

Then evil we become. Bad

So why should I care

How I act anymore?

Inflict pain without even knowing it

We hurt the feelings of others

So why should I be nice

If everyone else isn't?

Arrogance of others makes me sad

Yet that arrogance always turns into a downfall

The hubris of it all

So why should I care about what you do?

The flaws of our lifestyle we hide

Mean, Boring, Failure.

If we're the same

So tell me why do we care about them?

Envious minds are pitiful

But we still are so jealous of you

So why do we even label things as good and bad?

And one day when it's all gone

Then what will happen?

I wonder

So will it be a good world, or a bad world?
