Tell me what I want to hear

What is pleasing to my ears

Tell me something special

Something that will clear my tears.

I want happiness to be everywhere

If that were possible I would not be here

Looking as I do right now

Living my life in such fear.

What happened to those days?

Where I had no care

As if a trigger was pulled

That made life unfair.

Who will listen to my feelings?

Who will care anyways?

I don't know anymore

Because it'll be the end of my days.

Help me if you can

Get rid of the pain

That is sightless

And full of shame.

I want to be happy

But I am not

So tell me what to do now

To get rid of that thought.
