Chapter Thirty Five

Third person pov

It was already early in the morning , the birds were flying around while chirping in search for food. Inside Athanasia's room , the two siblings were sleeping soundly in each other's embrace.

Athanese was the first one to wake up.  He tiredly opened his eyes , his eyelashes fluttering as he tried to wake up . He looked around and noticed he was not in his room and was about to start panicking but he suddenly remembered he slept in Athanasia's room .

He looked to his side and noticed Athanasia sleeping while using his free hand as a pillow. He looked at her mindlessly while encouraging himself to slowly take his hand out since he could feel his hand go numb.

' Lucas would probably tease her about '

Athanese thought as he looked at her swollen eyes . He stretched his other hand and caressed her closed eyes .

' well , now that I remember it I have many work to do '

Athanese thought as he slowly pulled his hand out of Athanasia's grasp and went to his bedroom while yawning. After reaching his bedroom , he quickly took some clothes to change in and went to take a shower.

' yesterday father was having a hard time with headache '

Athanese thought as he dried himself. Suddenly , the image of Lucas kissing him appeared in his mind and his cheeks quickly brightened up at the thought.

' ..... '

Athanese was speechless as he tried his best to distract himself

' work first Athanese , Work first !! '

Athanese thought as he buried his face in the pile of clothes

' Ok then !! Do your work first Athanese , think about him later '

Athanese thought as he gently slapped both of his cheeks at the same time and wore his clothes.

Meanwhile , Athanasia had just woke up . The maids and lily were already there to help Athanasia with her morning routine. When Athanasia opened her eyes , it was obviously swollen.

" P-princess ? Did something happen last night ? "

Lily asked worriedly ..

" I had a scary dream and I couldn't sleep properly "

Athanasia replied

" Go fetch a cold towel "

Lily said as she glanced at the other maids

" Yes , Miss Lillian "

The maid replied as she went to fetch a cold towel for the princess

' Ahhh !! It's finally finished '

Athanese thought in relief as he leaned back on his chair while sighing tiredly .

' well , I should go to sleep now '

Athanese thought as he slowly stretched

' I didn't run into Lucas today '

Athanese thought as he walked towards his room .

' wait .... I should probably go visit Jennette and Ijekiel since it has been quite a lot of days since I last visited them '

Athanese thought as he glanced out if the window and noticed it was already night

' well , I should probably go . Now that I notice it , I don't think I hate Jennette at all '
