Inside the Imperial Palace , Athanese could be seen walking around his office while biting his nail .

' it's only been two day since father lost his consciousness and it seems like the nobles have already caught the air of it ... Its a good thing that it has not reached the civilian's ear or else the panic will make the situation worse...

It's spreading faster than I expected ... Anastacius couldn't have been able to do that on his own....is someone helping him ? Then who.... Is it Roger ... It is more likely that the one who is spreading the rumor is Roger because he has been covering Anastacius identity for quite a long time....

Should I go visit the Alpheus household ? Maybe no... I need to see it for myself but it will be dangerous and from what I know father's situation has gotten so worse that he need constant healing from Lucas...

Athanasia has also never left father's side and .... '

*sigh*

Athanese couldn't help but sigh in this troubling situation

' if he makes his appearance in the proxy meeting then it would worsen the situation .... I don't have anything against him except his black magic and what's even worst is that if I were to testify my blood , I would also be proved to have used black magic because of the black magic I absorbed from father .....

The situation is not favourable for our side .... '

Athanese thought as he plopped down on the couch and sighed again

' there's no choice other than to kill him

Maybe there are other choices but it's the only thing that came upto my mind right now....... '

Athanese thought as he stood up and wore his coat and walked towards The Emperor's Chamber. And while walking there , he met the person he was looking for , Felix .

" Your highness ! "

Felix said as he bowed a little and greeted him

" Felix can you come with me ? I have to talk with you "

Athanese said as he glanced up at Felix who nodded his head in response and followed Athanese to his office. After a few minutes , both of them got inside Athanese's office and closed the door behind them

" Felix... You can sit down "

Athanese said as he gestured Felix to sit down

" But-"

Felix was about to protest but Athanese quickly interrupted him

" It's a order , Felix "

Athanese said sternly as he glanced at Felix

" Yes , Your highness "

Felix replied as he sat down while facing towards Athanese's direction

" Sorry about that , I called you here because I want to ask you something Felix . I hope you will answer me with honesty "

Athanese said as his face remained blank

' The prince really looks like his majesty when he is serious '

Felix thought and replied

" Of course , your highness . I would never lie to you "

Athanese's lips parted and curled upwards in satisfaction.

" Good ... Then Felix tell me ... "

Athanese said as he paused between his sentence and Felix couldn't help but get nervous at the pause
