" what would it take for you to love me ? "

Athanasia asked as she desperately looked up at Claude who was looking at her with no emotions present on his face as he looked at her who was kneeling in front of him while crying

" should I become like Jennette ? "

She asked desperately as she wanted to be loved and appreciated just like her step sister Jennette who appeared suddenly with no notice at the debutante

" If I do then will you call my name dearly as you call hers ? And watch me with warmth in your eyes "

Athanasia asked while crying as she too wanted her father to love her just like she does to him

" Will you hold me in your arms without pushing me away ? "

She asked as her eyes teared up even more

" Such a thing won't happen until the day I die "

Claude said heartlessly as he looked at the pitiful girl in front of him

" Why is that ? "

Athanasia asked

I was by your side longer than Jennette"

Athanasia said as she cried her eyes out from all the pain she felt while growing up with no parents

Athanese woke up from his rather unpleasant dream and looked around while panicking . After few minutes , Athanese calmed down and took deep breaths to calm himself .

' Athanasia

Athanese thought as he walked towards Athanasia's room while feeling the need to see Athanasia at instant

' I don't know why but my gut feelings tell me something is going to go wrong today . Whatever happens I won't let Athy and Father get hurt '

Athanese thought and suddenly realization hit him like a truck. Athanese ran towards the rose garden while recollecting his memory about the chapter they must be currently in

' i need to go there faster , if my memory serves me right then today must be the day when - '

Meanwhile with Athanasia , she was taking a stroll around her favorite rose garden which has been gifted to her by none other than her father . She picked up roses while dropping it after her footsteps.

When she reached the open area of the rose garden , she saw Claude walking towards her and stopping before her while maintain few meters gap

" As I thought , I should have killed you "

Claude said as he glared at his daughter Athanasia who he once treasured dearly before he lost his memories . Athanasia just looked back at Claude confusedly

" If only I had killed you and that brat from my sight then there would be no reason for that face to weigh on my mind like that "

Claude continued as he spit hurtful word after words that were directed towards the twins.

" How funny , that protection magic undoubtedly contains my mana "

Claude said as he attacked Athanasia with magic. Athanasia looked at Claude with the protection spell glowing where Claude had just attacked .
