Chapter Twenty Six

Athanese pov

I woke up feeling the headache annoying me to no end. I wonder when Lucas will come .... I should keep patient until he arrives. But I don't want to be a nuisance for him too.

Then what should I do ? When he comes back he will already have to deal with father's condition and that will make him busy ... * sigh * I don't want to bother him at all

I slowly went towards the bathroom and to my misfortune , my headache got worse as every single second passed by. I don't what I should do but wasn't I the one who said

' if the result is worthy then I will do anything necessary for it ' ?

Haha , that was quite a long time ago . Wasn't that around the time I just introduced myself to these silly noble houses to gain some political authority in the empire. Anyways , I shouldn't back up from my words now.

* sigh * I should probably go and visit Athy today since i have not been able to visit her as much as I wanted to due to those silly old noble men and women giving me so much assignments and documents to do.

Third person pov

Athanese changed his attire and went towards Athanasia's place to visit her. On the way , he heard some of the maids talking about how glad they are since Athanasia came back to palace without getting hurt and why Jennette is always visiting Claude despite Athanasia's arrival.

Athanese just dismissed their conversation and went back to thinking about how to help his father and how to help him recover his memories . He walked towards a living room where Athanasia must be spending her time at.

Meanwhile , Athanasia was sitting down on the couch while thinking about the recent events that happened out of nowhere and without any notice. Jennette suddenly opened the door and greeted Athanasia .

" Princess . "

Jennette said while smiling

" Jennette "

Athanasia said as she looked at Jennette who interrupted her thoughts by suddenly barging inside the room

" His majesty has fallen asleep . It seemed like he slept properly last night thanks to his highness Athanese but since his majesty didn't wanted to bother Athanese that much he called me... "

Jennette said

" I see "

Athanasia said while nodding her head

' I only found out about this after I returned ... but apparently daddy only falls asleep when Athanese uses his magic on him or when Jennette is nearby ..

What am I supposed to say ? thank you ? '

Athanasia thought as she looked at Jennette who was smiling brightly like always. Suddenly Athanese came inside the room while smiling more brightly than usual while trying to hide the pain his headache was giving him.

" Good morning , Athy and Jennette "

Athanese said as he smiled while looking at them

' huh ? What's up with him today '

Athanasia thought as she looked at Athanese who seemed very happy and cheerful than usual. Athanese walked and sat beside Athanasia .

" Please sit , Jennette. I will call for some tea "

Athanese said as he gestured Jennette to take a seat . Athanasia hummed in agreement as she displayed a smile on her face.

" Yes , your highness "
