"No? No volunteers? I think I'll start..." Logan's eyes swept the room, "With you." He pointed at Thomas, who backed away in fear.
"Logan. I don't know who you are, but I do know you came back for me. Not him. When I knew you, you were a kind man. Please." Janus scowled.
Logan just laughed. "Please? To think that the great Snake is pleading with one of the men he killed. Oh, no. I'm going to kill him. And Roman. And all the others, while you watch, unable to do anything about it. And just as you think, 'I should've tried to help them', after you give me what I want, only then is when I kill you. Or, maybe you will."
"Then I'll tell you something, Logan. If you hadn't said that, I would have given you your apology." Janus grit his teeth.
"Oh, I won't give you a choice."
"I think you will." Thomas picked up a lamp and threw it at Logan, who attempted to catch it (failing, of course), and Thomas and Janus ran. They came across the others, and motioned them to come. They followed at top speed, confused, until they heard a roar from Thomas' room.
"What is that?" Virgil gasped as they left the building.
"A ghost- Logan Rogers." Thomas panted, "Who somehow double killed Patton."
"What?!?" Remus yelped as they all turned a corner.
"He wants revenge on Janus! And to kill you! And me! So where do we go?!?" Thomas was having a hard time keeping up with their unlimited stamina.
"I know a place!" Janus sped up. They followed.

They slowed and ducked into the dark building. It was old, inside the woods, left there for years.
"What is this place, Janus?" Virgil asked. Roman was keeping surprisingly quiet.
"I think it's time I filled you all in on my past." Janus sighed, but before he could begin, Roman sobbed loudly and hugged Remus.
"It's all my fault!" He cried.
"What is?" Remus asked, ducking down to Roman's eye level.
"I- I saw Logan but, but I didn't say a lot and then Patton's disappeared and- and it's ALL MY FAULT!"
"No, Roman. You told us. We just didn't listen. Can you go play in this other room for a bit? I want to talk to Remus, Virgil, and Thomas." Janus pointed to an adjacent room. Roman went.
"So you killed so many people, that you forgot them." Thomas say on the floor, his voice sounding dead and flat.
